“Don't believe all reviews”

We went with friends with an open mind after reading some rather negative reviews of this museum. The museum is excellent if you love ALL aspects of motoring. Ok it hasn't got many old "classic" British cars in there but it has got some fantastic worldwide custom cars, and lets face it the name is "Motor museum" not "Classic British car motor museum". Elo has done wonders with this museum and we loved it. We took our time to look at the 200 + motors and spent 1 1/2 hours in there. I think its well worth a visit.

“What a waste of time”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 12, 2014 via mobile

This place is crazy expensive for what it is. Do not go unless you have some sort of Groupon or something or you will cry with grief over the waste of money!!
The whole place could be good but not many cars have information or interesting write ups and that's a real missed opportunity to grasp people's interest. It feels like a storage garage for people's custom cars that the public can pay to see. There is no genuine care in the place and you feel that. Our 7yr old enjoyed the cars but the whole thing was an hours visit and I would recommend it to NO ONE!! The fact that so many people have criticised the place and the owner doesn't reply or improve things shows a bloody minded lack of care. What a shame.

I got a Groupon voucher to visit but that price was about what it is worth . The full price is far too expensive in my opinion for a mediocre selection of cars . It does not compare with the London
motorcycle museum which is not too far away.
Certainly not a patch on the national museums or most of the smaller ones.
A shame as its quite near to London but needs improving.

“So disappointing”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 29, 2014

I visited the London Motor Museum with my partner, after purchasing tickets for his birthday as he is a huge petrol head. I was expecting first class prestige cars as it is supposed to be ' the London Motor Museum'. What we experienced however was far from what one would consider a quality car museum for the enthusiast. The website was very misleading as the museum was a tatty factory in a rough part of London. The cars inside were all modified and the owner himself was walking around and could be heard on the phone mouthing off- very unprofessional indeed I would not recommend if you are a serious car enthusiast as you will be disappointed and in my opinion is a complete waste of money.

“Disappointing day out”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 28, 2014

My family and I (4 adults, 3 children one under a year) travelled from Hayes in Bromley to Hayes and Harlington for what was expected to be a good day out looking at Vintage and old cars English/European cars, the entrance fee was nearly £60.00 for all of us, add that to the fares and we are nearly up to the £100.00 pound mark before we think about refreshments, the tea room was very badly stocked just low priced crisps, biscuits, pre packed cakes and sweet fizzy drinks, plastic cups and tea bags and coffee machine coffee, served by staff that seemed to want to be somewhere else!!

The exhibits themselves were generally in good condition but about 75% or more of them were American dragsters and saloon cars etc, there are a couple of Batmobile vehicles, a mini, and a few other European cars, all but one of the exhibits were out of bounds to visitors.
