Can't fault this one. Highlight was receptionist who greeted me on arrival. Good sized rooms, clean, quiet and excellent location right next to the shore, shops, cinema, restaurants and Casino!
If you've never visited Southport then you should. This super little Victorian resort has everything you'd want for a week away....also has great potential to become the UK's Las Vegas. Lots of vacant land next the sands....Atlantic City? Only downside was price of the breakfast at £8.25 each it's a bit of a rip off.

Room Tip: Book early using Premier Inn website for really cheap prices...£29 per night and you can now cancel...

We hadnt been to this premier inn before, but would reccomend it to anybody who needs to be close to all the local attractions. The town centre is within walking distance, but a taxi is only a couple of pounds if like us you dont fancy being energetic.
the staff are very friendly(nothing is to much trouble),the bedrooms are clean and roomy. If you want something to eat outside the hotel there are several major food outlets just accross the car park.
breakfast was one of the best we have experianced in a premier inn.
If there is one small niggle it is that the menu in the hotel dosnt include sandwiches and small snacks which would be nice if you dont want a full meal.
All in all though a very enjoyable stay.

We hadn't tried this Premier before, but found it to be the usual excellence we have come to expect from Premier Inns. The welcome was very nice, lovely staff and the room was warm & welcoming, very clean etc. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel, but chose to wait until later and found a lovely little cafe in town serving breakfast for £5.95 (much more food on the plate than @ the Premier & they were charging £8.25!) We have found that when the Premier Inn has it's own restaurant (not Brewers Fayre etc.) the food and prices seem much more reasonable. But all in all, nothing to complain about - a good time was had by all!

We managed to get a Friday night room for £19! Comfortable clean room, free car park, excellent location, what more could you want for a night away? Did not eat here as we had pre booked Finos and we walked into the town centre for breakfast

Cannot fault the hotel, we had a lovely room(88) one of the lightest rooms we've had, they are normally dark, but that doesn't bother us as its mainly night when we are in them. But I would like to draw attension to the new breakfast policy. We have been many times to lots of different Premier Inns and always enjoyed the buffet breakfast, at £8.25 not cheap but competative with major hotel chains. In fact it was part of the experience, to be able to help yourself to as much as you like! This now seems to be a thing of the past, they are taking orders and you have to wait, which can be some time when busy. Yes you are allowed to ask for more but how many people would do so, and of course yet another wait, by which time you have gone past it. First we were told it was only done when it was quiet, but not so twice we have been when busy, to Southport and Trafford Centre South, and it was still by order. I have since received email from them to say it is now policy as they listen to customers. I think it is more to do with saving money, they still do Buffet Nights and food is sitting out then. Also it may be good value for families as children eat free, so costs for 2 adults and 2 children work out at £4.10 per person, but adult couples or singles are paying in full with the wait. Far better to go elsewhere ie: Wetherspoons, who do really good breakfasts. Lots of other outlets normally close by to shoose from. Can't fault the hotels but shop around for eats.

Room Tip: Rooms at back sunnier and quieter.
