Have been to this cafe twice now when I have visited Southport, and it's such a treat! This time we stopped for lunch after shopping in town, and enjoyed a flat white coffee, and the delicious chicken, pesto and mozzarella paninni, whilst my Mum had the homemade pea and ham soup and a latte. In an age when big chain coffee shops are dishing out lacklustre coffee at inflated prices it is nice to support a local business serving up lovely food and genuinely good Italian coffee. Afterwards I couldn't resist a speciality hot chocolate (topped with maltesers!!) which really was as good as it looks! The atmosphere was so friendly, I enjoyed a chat with one of the other regulars. I cannot wait for the weather to warm up so i can take my mum and sit in the large outdoor area over looking the park!
