The food was good, and there was more than enough on our plates. We booked earlier in the day, because we were in a large group, and wanted to eat fairly early because of having young children with us. Unfortunately being a Saturday night the place was extremely busy, so we had to wait a while for our table, and then quite a wait for our food [try keeping young children waiting whilst sitting at the table]. However, it was worth the wait, and with eleven in the group, and a couple of bottles of wine, the bill was only a little over £100. However, we only had a main course, and because of the delay decided not to order puddings there. It was good wholesome food, with enough interest for three vegetarians too. The only downside, was being asked to pay the bill upon ordering, which apparently they do when the place is busy.
