Only stayed for one night as it was an impulse couple of days away. Should have stayed longer, for a Three star hotel it punches way above its weight. Booked a delux room with sea view. Could not find fault with it. Used the spa facilities they were so good we went out and bought swimwear to be able to dive in and relax.Evening meal was in the Carringtons restaurant which was excellent.Like every where in the hotel a very high standard of decor and workmanship.
Staff are wonderful. Other hotels could use their standard as a guide line of what service should be.
Will go back as soon as we can fit a short away trip in.
Shame the weather was lacking in its welcome but no where in the UK was any better this month.

Room Tip: we has room No 34 sea view.

This was our 2nd visit to the Atlantic Hotel, it was excellent, paid extra for sea view room, and was well worth it. The staff were exceptional, could not do enough for you. The pool and hot tub although small was superb warm and inviting. Breakfast was excellent, and an added bonus for Tenby, their own car park, we will definitely be returning again. Highly recommended.

We were two couples who recently stayed here on a weekend visit. We were made to feel very welcome - especially as we arrived early. We requested Sea View rooms and they are worth the extra.

It has been some time since we visited and the refurbishment is very good. I've seen the lounge referred to as 'cold' and 'uninviting' in some reviews, but with the sun peeping in the giant windows and the comfy armchairs, it is anything but! The hotel is of a type and era and is 'comfortable' and reflects the town.

The reception staff were friendly and helpful as was the young man who was keeping an eye on everything at breakfast. The breakfast had a wide choice and the fully cooked breakfast was good. A seperate order for poached eggs was handled well.

The indoor pool was a blessing on a cold, wet, windy day and we made the most of that.

The onsite secure parking was also a bonus.

Room Tip: We were on the 3rd floor at the front which has lovely views of the sea.

My husband and I stayed for one night , we stayed in a delux room on the 3rd floor. The welcome was first class, we were made to feel very special, full tour of the hotel was given before being shown to our room which was lovely with a breathtaking view of the beach. We used the leisure facilities we were impressed with how clean everything was. To top off a first class stay , as it was our wedding anniversary a card was waiting for us at breakfast congratulating my husband and I sent from the hotel, what a lovely touch! We have finally found the hotel we will be staying in when we visit this stunning part of Pembrokeshire !

Have stayed at the Atlantic a few times on business as it is a "preferred hotel" for our company. The hotel is always very clean, staff very friendly and rooms that we have stayed in have been very nice. Also the location is great, overlooking the beach. It is a proper old school hotel, so don't expect a fancy boutique type set-up. The only complaint I have is with room 21, my colleague stayed in this room last year and had to move, and I was given this room last week. Nicely done out, however the room is located directly next to the kitchen's large extractor fan. Therefore no need for a wake-up call as at 6:50-6:55 am the fan comes on and that's it I'm afraid. Didn't bother me as was up just before then and off early for business, however would feel sorry for holiday makers who were given this room, especially at weekends. Staff must be aware of the problem with the noise, however no mention of it when I checked in and perhaps is only let out to folks on business? However apart from this one room, everything else was as good as usual.

Room Tip: Sea views am sure would be worth having given the location. But avoid room 21 if you are not an earl...

Stayed 1 night only
Hotel is quite big inside.
Very clean everywhere.
Huge bedroom. Very warm tho
Non sea view room was still very light and airy.
Pool sauna Jacuzzi warm sun beds were amazingly warm. And very clean. Towels provided
Only thing which bugged us was the children stay in in the room above
were quite noisy banging bein heavy footed .. and they were awake crack of dawn.
Which woke us up early.
Otherwise the hotel was fab. And Carringtons restaurant was lovely. And not that expensive.
We be returning when we get another chance soon. Can't wait.
Next time will be a sea view tho top floor. So no kids can wake us early.. ha.

Room Tip: Sea view top floor. Away from kids

I visited the Atlantic hotel with my husband and four year old son for a birthday treat. Arriving at the hotel we were pleased to see they had their own carpark so no carpark feed and long walks with heavy bags! The reception area is beautifully decorated with a luxury feel and the staff were extremely warm and welcoming even showing us to our room. Our room was very tastefully designed with luxury in mind, lots of space and an impressive bay window with a perfect view of the beach and sea.

We chose the hotel for the swimming pool to entertain our son and although on the small side was adequate for us until other guests entered. It wasn't too much of a problem though as there are also hit beds, a spa bath and steam room in the spa.....all well kept and spotlessly clean. The only criticism I have is that the changing rooms are a very cold walk out of the spa and down the corridor.

Any interaction with the staff was friendly and helpful I can't find fault there.

The cooked breakfast in the morning was restaurant quality, cooked well and nicely presented.

The location is one of the best in Tenby for views and access to restaurants, bars and shops.

Overall a very pleasing experience with a special mention for the cleanliness. It didn't just look clean, it smelt clean.
