Even though the weather was against us, we could not have been cosier, a truly delightful cottage, beautifully clean and well equipped, and our hosts were just right too, so kind and helpful but never intrusive.
We arrived late 9pm however Marie and Peter, our hosts were there to greet us with a real warm welcome. Directions were spot on. There was a welcome pack to include soft drink, bottle of wine and nibbles. What a lovely personal touch. So thoughtful. The cottage was immaculate as was the decoration, really tasteful. The kitchen had everything by way of equipment to include washing machine, microwave and fully functioning oven and cooker. Bed was really comfortable and with no traffic noise you will sleep soundly. Bathroom was spotless with toiletries available if you had forgotten to pack. The cottage had everything you could conceivably think of by way of entertainment. TV, DVD’s, CD’s, books a plenty and Mindfulness colouring books with colouring pencils. Entertainment also included Daisy a fantastic little Scottie dog with a big personality. The grounds were beautiful and we had our own secluded little patio. The cottage contained a veritable library of brochures and books guiding you to popular places to visit of which there are many. Tenby and Saundersfoot are well worth a visit. Carew with its Castle and tidal mill is well worth aa look. Stakpole Estate cannot be missed with its magnificent Bosherton Lilly ponds leading to Brosdhaven South Beach. The Pembrokeshire coast is fantastic and littered with beautiful beaches. Really a week was not enough. What a find. You will not find better hosts. Many thanks.
We stayed in this charming cottage over the Easter break whilst visiting relatives in Pembrokeshire. Marie and Peter are so welcoming and pay great attention to making the cottage as comfortable and homely as possible including fresh flowers when you arrive and little welcome treats. The cottage is spotless and has everything you could need. It really is a peaceful, tranquil place to stay. We did not want to leave and would most definitely return. It's in ideal location to explore the area too.
Booked this cottage for my dad's 50th. They couldn't of been happier, most warm welcome from the owner and they said they have never been in a more beautiful and clean cottage.
Comfortable and immaculate cottage with everything you need for the perfect stay. A lovely welcome from the owner, nice welcome pack on arrival. Very thoughtfully presented and in a lovely setting. Good location to explore Pembrokshire with the lovely scenery. Highly recommended and will return.
