“Worth the hike”

Just opening to get to the Napoleonic Fort, but not open fully yet. Good views of the town and the blow holes in this megalith.

“Long wait”
Reviewed April 25, 2014

Not very exciting at the moment but hopefully it will get better once more of the renovation work is done. A pain waiting for the tide to go out so we could get to the island.

“Wait until the Summer”
Reviewed April 19, 2014

£2 charge per person to walk up the steps on the island, view good but the building is not open until the summer so you are paying just to climb the steps! Charge should be less until the building is open - too early in the year just now

“will be better when it is open fully”
Reviewed April 17, 2014

this was just so unexpected as this has been closed for 30 years and I have always wanted to step foot on St Catherines island when I visited it over 30 years ago with my children. they said it would be open fully in 2 weeks but I doubt it very much as the walkway needs support work doing.

“Fabulous views of Tenby”
Reviewed April 1, 2014

So pleased this place is now open to public. Last time i was on here was the late 70's when it was a zoo. Been closed ever since.
Since i have been married which is 30years my husband has never been on it so it was great to take him . Its only open in part at moment fort not yet the people looking after it at moment are seeking permission ,fingers crossed it happens.
Really enjoyed the walk around. Check tides for opening times. Or check the islands web page .
