Stayed at the Imperial on the second and 3rd. of June and we were very disappointed at the service and poor quality food. We were in room 41 which we were told was on the 3rd. floor but was accsessed by lift to the 4th. floor then you went up and down 3 flights of stairs which although my husband and I are 69 and 73 years old and consider ourselves very fit it did prove a challenge. We were unable to have a drink with our meal on the first night as we were not told on booking in that should have been given a Hotel card for all bar purcheses although the food did warrent a bottle of wine. The dinning room (which is lovely) seemed to be very poorly organised and the food was of poor quality.
