Stayed at the above Hotel for three nights. [ just returned home ] and found the Staff, and the Food was Very Good indeed. Good Hot Plates.. The rooms could do with being updating. as the wash hand basin was in the room and not in the Bathroom. [ only the Shower and Toilet ] Telephone also was missing. Very clean and the Waitress's could not do enough for you. also. Our Waitress "Mandy" was extremely helpful. Well done all....

Thank you so much for your lovely review. The Clarence House Hotel is not a purpose-built hotel and therefore does still have some rooms with basins in them. As we are re-decorating rooms, we are moving basins out of rooms and putting them into the new walk-in wet rooms. However, this does take time and lots of money, so we cannot change things as fast as we would like.

This was the first Bowls Tour I had organised and I was rather nervous about it all. Penny and her staff have been absolutely marvellous, from the very first contact until they saw us off as we started home. The food was excellent, with a super choice each and every meal. They excelled on the last night with a Gala Dinner that is still being talked about in our Club. Not one of our members has had anything negative to say about our week and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and concerned over every little detail. We will definitely be returning in the near future and I am recommending it to everyone I come into contact with. Well done Clarence House - you deserve every accolade I can manage. Thank you very much

Room Tip: Just talk to anyone on reception and they will find you a perfect room for you

I have just returned from a fantastic weekend in Tenby, having stayed at the Clarence House hotel, to be welcomed by a friendly team of staff, who would always put themselves out for us. A welcome smile every morning, by the waitresses, and receptionists. The rooms were changed every evening.
The bar area was spacious, with entertainment in the evenings.

We look forward to coming to stay again soon.

Room Tip: Most of the rooms had a wonderful view of the sea,

Being my birthday my wife decided to take me to Tenby for a few nights away. Having looked on the websites for various hotel that had no vacancies we decided to go and look for something when we got there.
The third hotel we tried was the Clarence. We asked if there were any rooms and were delighted when they said they had one. We were given the room key by the reception and told to go and have a look at it before we made a commitment.
Well it was small and on the top floor but we only wanted it to sleep in so we took it.
Bed and breakfast was £82.50 per night for the room which is ok.
Breakfast was good and so was the service and the staff pleasant.
There were a lot of old people there on organised coach trips and the entertainment was aimed towards them but we had a good couple of nights watching the antics of OAP's gracing the dance floor.
Overall a very nice stay.

Room Tip: Book early for the lower rooms although there is a lift.
