Description: Here at The Mooring, we have a passion for lip-smacking, going-back-for-seconds, seasonal food. We make the most of the fish & fare on our Pembrokeshire doorstep. And we don’t pay through the nose for produce that’s not in abundance, which means our customers don't have to either. We’re natural born feeders. We perfect classic dishes and source tasty combinations, all seasonal and all freshly made

Reviewed August 18, 2013 via mobile

We called in off chance on a Friday night... but were fully booked so we booked for the Saturday. So glad we did!!! What a fabulous restaurant!! Staff very friendly... food fantastic. We had the assorted bread with home made tapenade for starters...delicious!! For the main course my husband had the Fish Stew and I had the Big Buoy burger , both excellent. The desserts out of this world!! I had the Salted Caramel Chocolate Torte and the husband had the Affogeto both fantastic.!!!! Looking forward to coming back again!! Thanks to the management and staff for a wonderful evening.

“Good food and nice surroundings”
Reviewed August 17, 2013

We came here for my husbands birthday. The food was very good and a good choice of fair priced wine. The only minor grumble was that the staff, although very friendly, could have been a bit more 'on the ball'. It could just have been that they were tired after a long day as the restaurant is very popular and booking looks to be a must. A lovely night.

“Great food and good value”
Reviewed August 17, 2013

Booked a table after reading reviews on t/a. When we visit Tenby we never seem to find a great restaurant however we ate her on the Sunday night and had great food and service. Staff were frendly and food good size portions. Drinks reasonably priced. Returned next day for coffee and scones after visiting beach. Would definately recommend

“Lovely new eating place”
Reviewed August 16, 2013

Visited 3 times during a week stay in Tenby. Twice at lunch time and once in the evening for dinner. All food was first class. Service good. Sandwhiches were tasty, home made bread and gammon but a little expensive if anything for a simple sandwich.

For the evening I had lamb which was lovely, my husband had spaghetti bolognaise. Both recommended. We both had dessert. The salted caramel and chocolate tart is absolutely gorgeous for anyone who likes caramel.

Nice setting, prompt service and good food! Well done.
