A great mornings fun. We did the Full Monty so had 15mins track time to get used to riding a quad bike. We then watched a safety DVD before being taken on the bigger quad bikes around the track. One instructer led us while the other was at the back or alongside offering advice - in my case usually change gear! We went up steep hills - not too bad but coming down some was pretty scary, over humps and bumps, around trees on slopes and even did a see saw. The instructers were excellent.

We booked a Trail Lite option at £25 per person for our family of two adults and two children. This gave us a short familiarisation circuit or two on the machines (no gears, they are automatic, so only brakes, throttle and steering to worry about), then time on a longer track, and then - most exciting of all - a tour round all sorts of trails over farmland, led by two helpful guide/instructors. We all enjoyed it hugely. A great way to spend an hour. The staff could not have been more helpful or professional. Our youngest child, 12, had difficulty in steering her quad out of a deep rut and ended up down a bank in the nettles, but no harm done to her or the machine; just remember you need to be quite strong to cope with steering on the rougher ground. She is campaigning to go again, as all the family are!

I booked this as part of a trip for my husbands 50th birthday and it was the highlight of his activities. Like the reviewer below we went for the Full Monty package and it was well organised and good fun.

This is a lovely family run place and maybe that is why it feels so comfortable being there. They are obviously a team and work well together and having the larger cc'd bikes was a big advantage for my petrol, head husband. I was a novice having never ridden a geared bike before but the coaching received gave me confidence and, despite a small injury, I still loved every minute. Can't wait to come back and bring our 2 boys next time!

We had a great experience at Ritec Valley Quad Bikes. Attended as a mixed group of 4 and chose the Full Monty package which was a 15 minute practice session on the track using automatic quads then 1 hour trail riding with geared quads. We all really enjoyed the trail session, the instructors lead you out as a group initally then offer to split the group based on different abilities. The trail covered a large area with long stretches on the flat where you can get up to 5th gear, hills, puddles and a seesaw bridge!

Waterproof jackets, trousers, wellies, helmets and safety glasses are provided included in the charge which are needed as can get very muddy!

Full monty package was £41 each which we all considered very good value for money!

Me and my Dad went for the 'Full Monty', 15 mins on the track and then an hour on the trail. The hour flew by, through huge puddles, up to 5th gear on wide open fields and up, down and around hilly countryside. Beautiful scenery, brilliant instructor and a good old cuppa to finish off. Well worth a visit, beats Center Parcs quad biking any day. Thanks a lot! The Woodbridges
