Stayed here at the end of May with some friends on the kgb deal £139 for 3 nights. Can't go wrong for the price.
There was a mix up with our room, we had a different name on our key and when i asked at reception the young girl said she knew and it was fine?? On the list at breakfast our room numbers were still mixed up so i had to check again at reception as i didnt want to be charged for anything the man was charging to the room seens as it was still in my name.
Our room should have had a king bed but only a double and no bath just a shower, unlike our friends room, when i asked if we could be moved i was told that the hotel was full.
Breakfast was good, had plenty of choice and the young boy serving was very pleasant.
The pool was good although the water in the jacuzzi smelt fousty and looked abit green.
Hotel is a little rough arond the edges, paint flaking off the balcony etc.
All in all a good stay though for the price. Personally I would not pay full price to stay here.

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at the hotel and I couldnt find one fault with the hotel. The staff were fantastically friendly and so helpful especially Carol on reception ( I think this was her name), the bar and restaurant staff were very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble and the meals and service fantastic. Our room was spotlessly clean and everything about the hotel was more than 4 star.Thank you again for a fantastic stay and would certainly return again.

Just returned from a 3 night stay at this lovely hotel and both my husband and myself have had a wonderful time. From the moment we arrived to be greeted by Carol till the morning we left there wasn't one thing I could think of that I'd want changing. We had executive room 206 with a private balcony. Lovely spacious room with a good sized bathroom. Everything spotlessly clean and well maintained. We opted to eat at the hotel and I have to say it was a good decision. The food here is top restaurant standard both in quality and presentation. We ate in the restaurant all three nights as there were so many things on the menu we wanted to try and none of them disappointed. The service was excellent. If you are on the B&B rate and book the restaurant before 4pm you get 3 courses for £20 (some meals have a small supplement) which is excellent value as we have paid at least that for one course at some places we have stayed. There is also a good wine list and the bar is very well stocked.
Breakfast was lovely. There is an extensive breakfast menu available. It was so nice to have it brought to the table instead of having to keep getting up and down and fetching your own. I had a fruit platter and poached eggs both of which were really delicious. My husband opted for the welsh breakfast on one of the mornings which included a laverbread and cockle pate. Nothing was too much trouble for the waiting staff. (Loved Sophie!!!!)
There is plenty of parking at the hotel and it is around a 15 - 20 minute walk into Tenby town centre. There is quite a steep hill which although it didn't bother us might be a little difficult for some people.
I didn't use the pool/spa area but my husband did and was satisfied with the facilities on offer.
This hotel definitely lives up to it's 4 star rating. I would highly recommend a stay here. Thank you to all the staff for a really enjoyable stay.

Very pleasant hotel, but rather quirky. Not a sweetener for my tea in the entire hotel. Not impressed by that. Breakfast OK, but would have preferred buffet style, obviously a matter of personal choice rather a down point of the hotel. Dinner delicious, could not be faulted. Service excellent.

Hello we stayed here on a deal which proved to be excellent value , rooms spacious and well equipped we had ground floor with a self contained "patio" weather was excellent and was lovely to be able to take drinks whilst overlooking the grounds.staff were lovely and breakfast was fabulous
Now for tips that i feel need improving
owners please take note

1 changing area in so called spa was vey outdated and shower was useless so much so went back to room to use facilities there too many lockers
2, toilet in changing area needs looking at as when you flush water gushes over floor and legs a simple thing to fix.
some chairs on garden area have tiles on back which are broken and jagged an injury waiting to happen
3. toilet in our room hadnt been cleaned upon arrival which was quickly rectified but should never have happened

Room Tip: ground floor rooms a bonus in summer months

We had a delightful four night break here over Spring Bank Holiday. The hotel management and staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. From booking through to departure, we got first class service. All public rooms were immaculate and bedrooms very comfortable and well appointed.

The food at breakfast and dinner was delicious and plentiful. It was great to have breakfast 'cooked to order' rather than having to help ourselves to a buffet. The chef even cooked us curry on a couple of nights because we were due to leave before 'Curry Night' itself! The 'Steak Night' was excellent value and it is a long time since I have tasted such a delicious and well cooked rump steak, at such a good price. It is clearly popular with locals too.

It was lovely that the hotel was full (rare these days) with other families and couples - resulting in a very nice atmosphere. I must say all the children were very well behaved and we enjoyed good company in the dining room and bar every evening. The owners did everything possible to enhance our stay. The hotel is situated in a lovely area, away from the town but close to beaches and all local amenities for children. (Our 11 year old son enjoyed various activities recommended by the hotel, including Heatherton, which we thought good value).

We were particularly appreciated the assistance and extra facilties provided for my elderly disabled mother (though in our opinion, the hotel does need a disabled room with walk in shower on the ground floor). That said, she thoroughly enjoyed her stay, as did we all. We would love to go back again!

Room Tip: Speak directly to the hotel about your specific requirements, especially if disabled. They have a g...
