“Helpful, friendly, and IronMan ready!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 7, 2013

Have stayed with Tracey and Steve twice now, visiting Tenby for the Long Course Weekend and IronMan Wales. An absolute gem of a place to stay, right near the town centre and easy access to the beaches.

What makes the place though is Tracey and Steve, who went out of their way to be helpful and pretty much turned their house upside down to accomodate our needs; they were insistant in being up to serve breakfast at 4am! They even turned out on the course (un-asked) to support and help with kit and bags. Two of the nicest people I have had the pleasure of meeting, so many laughs at breakfast : ) Oh and getting to know a personal hero and neighbour, Rosie, was the icing on the cake - truly inspirational!

Fingers x'd I'll be able to get time off work to visit again for the Long Course Weekend in 2013, one thing is for sure if I stay in Tenby it will be with Tracey and Steve at the Weybourne.

thank you for a wonderful review , it`s always a pleasure to see you . Every athlete puts in so much effort and works so hard with thier training for these events that we feel the least we can do is look after you and support you as best we can ( even if we have to get up at 3.30 to be ready for breakfasts at 4.00 a.m. ) . good luck with your training and we hope to see you in july for the long course weekend xx

really cant understand other reviews that say that couple that run the house are friendly. Believe us they are not! We ourselves are an inoffensive couple with a young child. All we did was arrive late, because of bad traffic, and all we got was abuse. We were accused of booking a room for only two people, but we had reciept that had been sent to us, to proove we had booked a family room. She gave my self, huband and little boy 5 minutes to leave guest house, so she could make an extra bed! When we were so tired after long drive, and little boy needed to use toilet and get changed. She dealt with us in a very aggressive manner. Nasty piece of work, that can turn on a fake smile at the drop of a hat. We strongly recommend you do not go.

Sorry you had such a bad experience staying with us last march . i`ve tried to locate your booking but you left it 11 months after your stay before writing your review and i have been unable to locate any information concerning your visit . we pride ourselves on looking after our guests and this is reflected in the high percentage who return to us year upon year . we appreciate that guests do arrive later than planned from time to time and try to accommodate them and thier needs as quickly as possible . i`m sorry you feel we let you down .

Thank you Tracey & Steve for a lovely 2 night stay at the Weybourne. We endorse everything that has been said previously - very tasty breakfast, cooked to perfection. Spotlessly clean, Cosy room, lovely hot shower with lush smellies. 2 minute walk to the railway station at the end of the road, which is very convenient if you fancy a weekend away from home without the car. A short walk up the road that will bring you onto south beach side of Tenby with lots of shops and lovely restaurants & pubs. On Sunday nights during the month of August they have live bands playing at the harbour. followed by a fantastic firework display that starts around 10pm and lasts for around 15 minutes - well worth seeing! Highly recommend a stay at the Weybourne, you will be well looked after. Thanks again Tracey & Steve.

We have stayed here for seven years now and it is so hard to leave. Tenby is great and the Weybourne makes the holiday for us. The food is excellent everytime and i find fault with anything. We have booked for next year before we leave. Tracy and Steve are so friendly ,more like family than landlords.

Just got back from a 2 night stay at The Weybourne, it was the first time we have stayed there and now we won't be staying anywhere else when we go to Tenby. It is a very traditional style guest house in a nice quiet part of the town yet only a short walk into town centre and to beaches.

The room was plenty big enough for us and our 13 month old and there was room in the hallway to park the pushchair without it being in the way. There was an adjoining small room with a single bed in that they would have opened up for us if we required it.

Tracy and Steve were very welcoming and couldn't have been more helpful, Tracy would wash the baby's bottles in the morning for us and freeze our cooler bag ice packs overnight ready for our day on the beach the next day. The breakfast was delicious and cooked to our liking and if you didn't like something then Tracy would make sure that guests didn't go hungry.

Overall, it was a very nice, clean, laid back home from home, very child friendly and very good value for money. Will definately be staying there again and would recommend it to anyone.

Tracey and Steve 'the teeth' as our 4 year old calls him couldn't do enough to make you feel like V.I.Ps in their b&b. WE love their family room which had a double bed for us and bunk bed for the kids. Our 10 month old baby had his own high chair waiting for him at breakfast and there was room for his pram in the entrance hall. getting the kids clean after a day at the beach was no problem either as the shower was more than adequate. parking is just down the road at a train station. Breakfast was as we wanted and filling as always. This affordable accommodation makes you want to come back time and time again. You can pay more in the same street for a 'more upmarket feel' but not necessarily a place where you can relax with children (because of the clientle not the hosts) nor have enough space for all your kit...The weybourne offers extra room which is a bonus with young children.
