“Great village Pub”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 27, 2013

When you look for a traditional village pub, you are absolutely right here. This place, located in the very middle of the quiet village of St. Florence (a bit off the main road, so do not miss the street sign and therefore the turn out to the village). Upon entering, you will encounter a very nice, even picturesque environment with ample and comfortable seating. The staff is very friendly and attentive, service is very prompt. The food being served is delicious, steaks are a special recommendation (from my end), however any from the menue is tasteful and ample. Wide selection of beers. And a very good choice of white and red wines, either by the glass or the bottle.

“Excellent seafood and steaks”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 25, 2013

Generous portions. Good range of specials particularly seafood. When chef ran out of the rib eye steak special we were offerred 2 sirloin steaks each as a substitute - very good value. Sticky toffee pudding to die for!

“Fabulous family pub”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 1, 2013

This is an ideal pub for families. Excellent beer garden and inside there is a great childrens room with pool and old fashioned video games (pacman mr doo).

Real ale is very well kept - Doom Bar was on this week and we had an excellent evening meal (6 adults and 2 youngsters) plus baby in high chair. There was a good choice for all courses and everyone enjoyed their meals.
