My partner and I dined here on Saturday evening and it was awesome! We decided to go for the tapas taster menu after a nice drink in the bar area. It was great as it had all of the popular tapas dishes on there. All of the food was of the highest quality and having lived in Spain myself, I thought that the tapas was as authentic as it is in Spain. A great bottle of Red and a bottle of fizz later, a nice stroll back to the apartment and a great night! The staff were all great and attentive where required, and the host was most accommodating. Definitely worth a visit, but book!!

Superb quality tapas located slightly off the beaten track. All food is freshly cooked and it shows. The garlic bread is one of the best we've ever tasted. Even our fussy children tucked in! I'd recommend the raspberry mojito. Our 6 year old thoroughly enjoyed her (non-alcoholic) strawberry margherita. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We dined recently with our young family. The proprietor managed to get us a table for 4 at the opening time of 5.30pm which was perfect for us. We have dined here before upon our last visit to the area and we commented on how nice it was to see the same staff faces again- particularly the young man who served us our food- he was so obliging, friendly and genuinely made us feel very welcome. All staff we encountered were most hospitable and very good with our small children. The manager/owner made sure he personally visited re tables and took time to speak to his guests. Even upon leaving the restaurant he graciously escorted us out, making sure we received a friendly farewell and genuine thank you. The food was fab- our eyes were bigger than our bellies though. Good value for money and a most enjoyable evening. This is part of our ''must do's'' whilst on holiday in North Devon.

We are a family of five, with kids 13, 11 & 8 and were in Ilfracombe for the day on a boat trip. We decided to have dinner there that evening and stumbled upon this restaurant. My kids like varied choices, and small selections of differing foods, so Tapas always appeals. This restaurant has an a la carte menu, but also offers an all you can eat tapas menu, which if you are seated and ordered before 19:30 is £12.95 per adult (and kids above 1.5mtrs) and half price for kids below the height limit.
With this offer you get a selection of around 15 different Tapas dishes and also a salad cart. The tapas selection is somewhat limited and there are more extensive options from the a la carte menu, however the options were tasty and plentiful. What was a great touch was the soft drinks are also free refills, which for guzzling kids saves a fortune.
What I cannot commend enough though is the restaurants staff and service, which was exemplary. The front of house, who I assumed was the owner? found us a table without having booked (it is very popular and was full) and was very helpful throughout, which has clearly been passed down to his staff who are also equally courteous and charming.
Would definitely return.
