Had a great meal here on a busy Saturday night. We arrived in Ilfracombe late and the chef was about to close the kitchen, but we were never rushed and the food was of excellent quality. Chef obviously uses good-quality ingredients as even the simple dishes were delicious - highly recommend the chorizo in red wine. Good choice of drinks too and friendly service, highly recommended.

We arrived at this restaurant on a busy saturday night , the owner greeted us amd told us we would habe a tabke as soon as they could clear them, within two minutes we were seated and enjoying looking through lovely full tapas menu, sipping a very nice tempranillo.
we were told to relax order whatever and whichever wewanted at our own time throughout the evening.
we started with four dishes , the prawns with chiili and garlic were superb and so were the meatballs. We ended up ordering seven different dishes, all of which were fantastic. And also really good value.
we must give a special mention to the young lady who served us who was camping, and had comeinto work, she was friendly and always had a big smile. Very good service ! Thanks the terrace, you gave us a memorable meal !

We booked here on recommendation of a friend who lives in the area and we are glad we did. We went on a Saturday night so it was busy but the service did not suffer. The staff were attentive and friendly, always on hand for any requests. The food was outstanding, we initally picked 5 tapas but ended up ordering more. We never felt rushed which considering they were busy and could have used the table again was good. The lamb lollipops and prawns in garlic and chilli we ordered 3 portions of. Everything was brilliantly cooked and thoroughly enjoyed. The restaurant itself isnt the poshest place and the setting a little bright for an intimate dinner but the food and staff more than make up for it. There was a set menu which was cheaper than how we did it but considering the standard of the food I dont think it was over priced.

We wandered around Ilfracombe to re-familiarise ourselves with it after a long period of absence. We didn't know about this restaurant, but wouldn't want others to miss it.
We arrived just in time to take advantage of the tapas deal, which allowed us to order as much as we liked from an extensive list. It included some very special delights, including King Prawns in filo pastry.......gorgeous! Meatballs in a piquant tomato sauce.......very more ish. Mozzarella sticks... yummy......and a lovely Vegetarian Paella.! In addition, there was a salad bar, offering freshly prepared salads with a variety of dressings. I have to admit that we were "stuffed" when we left, but it had been an absolute pleasure to dine here, and enjoy the hospitality ....(and the Sangria).
A " must do" if you're in Ilfracombe. Thank you.

My wife and i went to the tapas bar on Saturday 14th June, it was pretty busy - but still the food was perfect - complements to the chef that made all the food, but we weren't happy with the way the waiting staff, as they were rude to us and even ask for others table orders before us, especially as we came first in before them.
