“it has everything you could possibly need in it”
Reviewed August 22, 2017 for a stay in August 2017

A lovely house well kept, views looking over hills.
we went for our daughters wedding at the tunnels, a wonderful wedding venue looking over the sea. The beaches are black sand but that doesn't stop you having fun and there are swimming pools in the rocks when the tide is out, beautiful and pictorial . The house we stayed in has everything provided from high chair to all kitchen needs including t' towels and all towels for showering, we love to 2 big baths also great for after being out all day a nice long laze in the bath but the showers are brilliant too. Basically if you think you might need something you most probably won't because it will be there. Good size kitchen diner , large lounge, loads of videos grown up ones and children's. top floor is like a private on-sweet as bedroom door next to big bathroom and bunk beds for the kids next to bedroom.

“Look no further - perfect house!”
Reviewed July 25, 2017 for a stay in July 2017

Great location, clean, fresh flowers on arrival, fresh linen.

Loads of space and fully equipped, info files really well laid out so all questions answered.

We were a mixed family from 12 years old to 82 and everyone was happy.

Ilfracombe is a great town to base your stay - walked into town for great restaurants £££££ and £!

“Perfect amazing large town house. Pet friendly too”
Reviewed July 23, 2017 for a stay in June 2017

This is a fantastic townhouse, perfect for a mixed group, we had 3 generations with us & a dog. The house was spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped. The welcome pack was a lovely touch thank you and even fresh flowers in the kitchen which gave a very homely feel. Ample parking outside the house with no restrictions, we had 4 cars with us. Walk into Ilfracombe only about 10-15 mins but hilly on the way back, no problem for us though. We were there for wedding at the Tunnels Beach, 3 min drive or 9 min walk. So all in all an excellent week and would highly recommend this property. Thanks

“Home from home”
Reviewed October 31, 2016 for a stay in October 2016

Over the years I have stayed in lots of houses, having taken breaks in the UK for the last 25 years. This house is the the best I have ever stayed in. It is decorated tastefully and to a high standard with lovely furniture and all the mod cons you could ever require. It was lovely and cosy for our Autumn stay, the kitchen is very well equipt perfect if you decide to do any family cooking. Or just catering for breakfast for a large group. We love Ifracombe which is having a real revival over the last 4 or 5 years. Damien Hurst's - Verity in the Harbour is beautiful. The only disappointment for us is that oddly many of the higher end restaurants and lovely gift shops were shut. There is lots of lovely walking to be done (a lot of Ifracombe and surrounding area is very hilly) and plenty of cake shops in Ifracombe, we have a fabulous break.Thank you.

Thank you for your review, i'm so glad that Primrose House exceeded your expectations and really did feel like a home from home :) Ilfracombe is a lovely area and there is no shortage of things to do locally.
Being a seaside town most of the Shops and Restaurants stay open from Easter through until the end of October, when many then close down during the winter season.
Hope to welcome you back again in the future. Caroline
