My husband, myself and our adult daughter stayed here all last week. Anne-Marie and Barry were welcoming and helpful from the moment we arrived.
Our rooms were immaculately clean and the beds super comfortable. We had a wheelchair accessible room which was spacious and the en-suite bathroom met our needs admirably. It was obvious much thought had gone into the design and adaptations.
The cooked breakfasts were delicious and there was an extensive choice for the continental breakfast option. The evening meals we had were generous and always of a high standard.
The building both internally and externally was finished to a very high standard whilst retaining many of its original features, .e.g. the staircase which my husband and I admired but as are both disabled we used the lift.
Car parking was good.
We enjoyed our stay immensely and would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Ilfracombe.

If you are visiting the beautiful seaside town at Ilfracombe you must spend it with Barry and Anne-Marie at Wildercombe House.
You will get a fantastic warm welcome in their beautifully restored building which was immaculate and really well decorated throughout, as a special treat you must try room six it's a fantastic large open room which has amazing views of the harbour in the distance plus the bonus of the valley that the House sits on.
It comes with an amazing bathroom with very high quality fixtures and fittings there is quality furniture in the bedroom and an all too rare thing ! a comfy sofa to sit on whilst taking in the amazing views.
Breakfast options where excellent with a full range of locally sourced produce which was presented in another beautiful room, I would recommend a visit here without hesitation and I hope to return again to enjoy Barry and Anne-Marie's hospitality

Room Tip: If you are on a special trip or celebrating a special occasion you must try room six for it's size, facilities and amazing views
