Visited yesterday for my birthday meal .ordered two steaks both very tough asked for medium came back very bloody.mine was ok but no seasoning on steaks Diane sauce no taste. We were asked by the waitress if we was happy with the meal told her no she did tbf offer to send it back to the kitchen but we declined. We have visited this restaurant many times and never had a problem before. We was giving our bill and paid the full price not that we asked for a reduced payment but it might nice to have been asked as my partner's steak was inedible won't be visiting again.

We chose this place for something to eat at dinner time during a 3 day break away. I had the swordfish and my other half had rack of lamb. Excellent home cooked food, so would definitely recommend. We had 3 drinks on top and the bill came to just under £40.

Nice quaint restaurant. A little pricey for the food served but not outrageously so.
Very friendly staff.

We were looking forward to trying this restaurant but were disappointed with the value and quality of the food served to us. The staff were lovely and very helpful to be being coeliac . Suggesting suitable food. I had a very small grilled plaice with about 4 new potatoes and a small dish of mushy peas for around £11 my partners fish pie looked more substantial but was mainly mash with one small piece of fish and very little cheese with 5 small potatoes and an unappetising small salad . Would not recommend for the food but the place is quirky and staff very good.
