This is a nice, although slightly small pub. It was packed when we arrived on a Saturday night but we booked a table upstairs which was much quieter, and everyone who was there was packed into one half of it. I found the menu slightly limited and went for a burger which was nice. My friend had the vegetarian (butternut squash) item which was not big, did not look appetising and she said tasted quite bitter, but it cost as much as everything else on the menu. Still, that is her fault for making a bad choice! The landlord was friendly and the drinks were nice. I would visit again and would like to be able to sit in the garden next time.
