“Dinosaur Park”
Reviewed February 25, 2013

We were there just before everyone else broke up for half term, but the park was lovely lots to see and do and so many interactive attractions for the kids, bit of a steep climb to get to the carpark and back but seriously don't let that put you off, my daughter got in free so only paid one adult price, very impressed. She was offered the chance of feeding a lion which she took cost us extra but definitely worth the experience and the keeper was just lovely, didn't rush, spent time with you even after everyone else had gone answering your questions, infact the whole team were really really friendly. Sealion show and the talks were all great, definitely somewhere I would really recommend you take the kids no matter the age (mine is 10) managed to spend all day there seeing the animals but also the Pharoahs tomb, made you jump and giggled alot....

“Lots to see lots to do!”

Plenty of choice on things to see and do! Have been for a swim with the sea lions and by far the best experience ever! Would recommend, whether you love animals or not! Great day out for the whole family! :)

“Loved it”
Reviewed February 20, 2013

It was a cold day but at least not raining. I just took the younger two (boy aged 10 and girl aged 6) along for a first look of the season.
The worst bit was that they were working on the tropical house so we couldn't spend an hour or so looking at lazy lizards to get warm again.
Best bits were, actually going into the meerkat enclosure for their feeding time, and the sea-lion display.
They looked like they really got a kick out of doing the tricks and it was obvious that the training was beneficial to them, as they are such intelligent creatures they need to be stimulated.
Another nice bit was seeing the baby gibbon who was still very close to his mother and trying to feed sometimes.
The keeper was knowledgeable and helpful as my son is a bit of a primate nut.
Overall an excellent visit not to be missed if you are staying in the area.

“Great day out!”
Reviewed February 19, 2013

A brilliant day out! Although initially I thought the park was over priced at the end of the day I felt my money had been very well spent. The lady on the entrance advised us that we attend as many of the talks that we could, glad we followed this advice! The talks were really informative and interesting for all ages. The animals all looked well cared for and the staff are clearly very knowledgeable and love their jobs!
