If you have an image in mind of a quaint English garden full of flowers to spend the afternoon eating scones and drinking tea this is the place !!!! Owners very friendly too and gave the kids a treasure hunt to do which kept them happy while we enjoyed the fabulous huge cream tea !
Nice little touches ( even noticed disposable baby changing mats in the toilet ) . This place is hidden and I only found it on here , so glad we did !

We were doing a road trip around Devon and had heard about this being the best place for cream tea in Devon. We were not disappointed! The food was excellent, and so was the tea. The atmosphere was great too. We sat in the beautiful garden and enjoyed our cream tea in the sun. The owners were very hospitable and welcoming, and showed us around the gardens to the mill pond and where they keep the bees. It was very picturesque and just such a great end to our trip. We will definitely be coming back!

Well worth a visit. The scones are all homemade on the premises right there and then - my fruit scone was still steaming when it arrived! Absolutely delicious, as was the toasted teacake. The jam and cream were spot on too. In a word, fantastic!

For an unusual tea room this is a great place to visit for locals & tourists alike. The food was very generous and all homemade. Even the china was lovely. The couple who served us (and own Hele Corn Mill) were very friendly and great with the children (even gave them a lollipop when we left!).
