“I was only here for the beer.”
Reviewed June 18, 2012

Best kept ales in the area. Only two, Timmy Taylor's Landlord and Sharp's Doombar, but both excellent (especially the TT).

Not necessarily my first choice of surroundings, but that's very personal. I was only here for a couple of drinks, it needed to be real ale, and I could not fault the quality of that.

“Good local boozer”
Reviewed June 7, 2012

Visited over the bank holiday, decent selection of pub grub, free wifi, however not the most friendly watering hole we visited but we enjoyed it enough to go back several times.
