“Weekend away”

Met up with our son and partner for the weekend of Sat 6th April with our son staying in different accommodation. Managed to park in the hotel car park which was lucky as it was pot luck with roadside parking at front of hotel and some car parks very expensive. Very enjoyable stay with excellent service and excellent weather made it even better. Bedroom and shower rooms were spacious and in excellent condition. Breakfast superb

My partner & I, together with our 4 year old daughter, stayed here last August in a bit of an emergency situation - after 10 days of camping in almost biblical rain, our tent collapsed in a gale in the middle of the night! We only had 1 more night to go, & considered just leaving Devon a day early, but are so glad we didn't.

We went to the tourist info office (only a couple of hundred yds from Bath Hotel), they called the hotel & booked it for us, & 15 mins later we were unpacking in a splendid family suite. We got a bit lucky, as they had no standard family rooms available & so they gave us a superior family room/suite for the same price. We had a double bedroom, with a sweet little balcony, with a TRIPLE single bed room off that, & a bathroom off the triple room. Lovely rooms, spacious & spotless, & a very warm welcome from the manager. He pretended not to notice that we were mud-caked, & we did swiftly scrub up & change into proper going-out clothes for the 1st time all holiday!

Very conveniently situated for the excellent Tunnels beaches & rock pools (approx 50m from entrance!), great local museum round the corner, & very easy walking distance to town / restaurants. Also lots of unrestricted parking nearby - very handy. We didn't get the chance to try the spa, all the communal areas were spacious, clean & well-equipped, lovely period features to the building, & an excellent breakfast was served with cheer. My daughter keeps asking when we can go back to The Bath Hotel! Very soon, we hope.

Room Tip: Large family room / suite on 2nd floor was pretty quiet considering central location. Rooms overlook...

Stayed at The Bath House Hotel for a friend's wedding at Tunnels Beach. Lovely space, comfortable rooms, and stumbling distance from the venue! Breakfast is good too, and everything you need in Ilfracombe is just a short walk away. Only downside is the seagulls, but there isn;t much anyone can do about them!

When it says luxury it means it, me & my partner with our two friends( also a couple) booked two double rooms, astounded by the very low price weren't expecting much!" It's only one night", " we'll have a few drinks and won't even notice" well done judge a book by the cover! The outside of the hotel isn't wow but when you get inside, Malcom the owner was so polite and nice.. He knew who we were as soon as we were there, the rooms were breath taking ( room 103) utterly stunning. We couldn't believe it for the price! We got ready and asked him for a nice place to eat, he recommended asian spice a 2 minute walk from the hotel! ( Was the best we've ever eaten) we came back to the hotel had a few drinks and played pool with malcom( who was laughing and joking with us, don't bet on a game of pool with him. HE WILL WIN). Ending the night, the beds were so comfortable and I've never woken up so refreshed, the shower was huge and very warm! It was a shame we had to leave we were Breakfast, full english was wonderful. The staff were so polite and welcoming! made to feel so comfortable and welcome. There isn't a bad word I could say about this hotel, You could stay anywhere else but if your like me and read the reviews and love a good bargain ... THIS IS THE PLACE! Just a thanks to the staff and I promise we will be booking again very very soon!

The bath house recently accommodated 10 of my best friends who were attending my 40th birthday bash at our restaurant locally. All had good things to say about their stay. We stayed a number of years ago when the hotel was a little tired. It was good to see the improvements that have been made and the bar/lounge area and dining room now have a bright modern feel.

We were staying at this pleasant Hotel for one n ight to accomdate us for a Wedding we were attending at The Tunnles Beaches. This Hotel is a stones throw from the Venue. I advised on booking that we would be bringing an infant with us (providing our own cot) and the room we were provided with was very spacious to accomodate this. I can't say for sure if all rooms are of this size, or we were placed here due to our needs but the room was well maintained, clean and welcoming. A small problem with the water pressure in the Bathroom was resolved quickly and efficiently, followed up by a visit from the Manager to explain what had happened.

We were even able to leave our car on the car park whilst we attended the aedding as the Hotel was quiet that day. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone

Room Tip: There are no Sea Views here. The lift is quaint (old and small :D ) so if you will be bringing lots...
