We went Saturday night for the three courses for £10, plus BYO wine. These offers can sometimes be disappointing, but not so here. Sweet potato wedges with dips was a good starter, empanadas for main and a chocolate cherry brownie; what more do you want? Almost enough to turn me veggie; almost!

We come regularly and this place has become a regular haunt.

We went here once in the winter of 2012 and we left without a bad word to say about it! Tasty reasonably priced vegetarian food.

this was our first visit to Grassroots cafe and it wont be our last! we really enjoyed the great veggie food and the staff were very friendly and welcming, will definatly be going back again very soon!

This cafe is an absolute gem! We had lunch here and the food was fabulous - the best nachos I've ever tasted, and the panini with beautifully dressed salad and thick crunchy chips was brilliant too. Two of us shared the two dishes and sadly didn't have any room for the great looking cakes afterwards, so we'll have to make a return visit to try more of the food.

We booked a table to celebrate a friend's birthday. Being a meat eater I was slightly worried that I'd have to settle for something on the menu. To my absolute delight I actually had a difficult time choosing from the delicious options on the menu. We were a table of 4 & we all thoroughly enjoyed every course, it was so delicious. We took our own wines with which is nice & saves loads of money. Priced at £12 per head for a 3 course meal + £1 corkage, it's unbelievable & very welcome value for money. The young lady who served us was lovely too. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about the evening & will definitely be back!
