My wife and I had a lovely stay at this bed and breakfast! The owners were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was delicious and the area was lovely. Our overall stay was relaxing we defiantly will revisit! 10/10

We stayed at Acorn Lodge only for one night in a family room - dbl+singl in one room. All good. Acomodation very clean and tidy, a tiny bit dated but really really good... VERY FRIENDLY HOSTS and FANTASTIC breakfast next morning! would recommend staying there to anyone. It is also located very conviniently to any local attractions, easy walk to harbour, to landmark or museum. FAB!!!! ;-) thank you ;-)

What lovely and welcoming couple Hugh and Anne McCain Donnell. Was on delivery with my husband's company and stayed over in this guest house. Will definitely be going back in the year. Great room and breakfast in a nice situated town next to the sea.

From the couple that were travelling from Cornwall with the work van :-) x

Hugh and Anne run a lovely small B & B just down the road from the Harbour in Ilfracombe....the rooms are cozy and clean and the breakfast amazing. They are a welcoming couple from Ireland with lots of interesting info for trips around the area and restaurants to eat in....we went to the Italian over the road Giovanni and Luca's and Smugglers....both delicious and value for money meals..

I stayed here one night, in order to get the ferry the following morning.

Very welcoming and friendly hosts - made me feel right at home. Easy to chat to, good knowledge on local area and generally v pleasant people! I stayed in the single "Lundy room" - a small but great room, had everything I needed, with toilet next door and shower on floor above. Comfortable, quiet, clean and quite cool (can't stand places with the heating on full blast). The rest of the b&b is very nice inside, incl. dining room with nice bright windows looking out onto the patio. Breakfast was tasty, well cooked, with good selection of fruit/cereals etc. The Acorn Lodge is well situated, v close to the harbour. It is not marked correctly on Google maps - but easy to find by walking.
