“Super, loved it!”
Reviewed October 24, 2013

We took a last minute five day break here at the beginning of September and of course, we were lucky with the weather, which of course makes any holiday fabulous... this park is really nice - we booked a lodge with a hot tub, oh my goodness how wonderful was that!! It was bubbling hot and ready for when we arrived - the lodge was spotless and modern, lovely views and was a nice distance away from the rest of the lodges so we felt private and not ontop of anyone - it wasnt cheap but we really wanted luxury and we certainly got it - we actually haggled and got a discounted price which was great too! The park is beautifully maintained, the little shop/bakery and the pub are all lovely with nice staff and quality surroundings - its in a great spot equidistant from Ilfracoombe, Woolacombe and all the lovely little market towns around - I would go there again like a shot! Fabulous!

Room Tip: Pay the extra and have a hot tub, soooo worth it!

We ended up staying here very last minute, with thanks to Claire the booking manger who bent over backwards to accommodate us, as we hadnt made any plans for a trip, we rang mullacott direct and make our booking 3 hours before we arrived.
We were thrilled with our accommodation, Bill the owner greeted us and showed us around the lodge even though it was late at night.
The lodge was above our expectations, very well equipped, lovely and cosy, the whole break was brilliant, the hot tub was just lovely, we couldn't wait to get home on an eve to unwind in the tub with the disco lights on and a glass of wine. There is a shop and a lovely cafe on site that does great cream teas and has great staff, we would and will definitely come back again to this park.

We travelled down to ilfracombe for our wedding and stayed here for a full week along with the majority of our guests. From the minute we booked to the time we checked out the staff were nothing but amazing. They went above and beyond to make both us and our guests feel welcome. We cannot thank them enough. The lodges were immaculate, confortable and homely. We hired a lodge with a hot tub which was clean and well maintained and the perfect addition for evening star gazing on our relaxing wedding week. We highly recommend this park and will definitely be returning in the near future.

Spent three fantastic days at Mullacott Park from October 3rd 2013. The lodges looked like they had just been built they were that clean. Good pup on site. Would recomend Mullocott Park. Not much there for children but close to Ilfracombe and most Lodges have sea view

We stayed here for a second time for our family holiday and we were not disappointed. Although quite a pricey weekly tariff approx £995 it is worth it. The staff here are most welcoming and nothing is too much trouble and the lodges are immaculate. This location is ideal for many beaches, we love Woolacombe Bay which has a blue flag beach perfect for family fun and surfing a short 10 min car drive away. Mullacott is perfect for families, although if you want lots going on and entertainment this is a very quiet site with a pub in walking distance virtually on site and that's it. We sat on the balcony at 10pm one evening and it was bliss, so peaceful. Tesco superstore is a 10 min drive away and Lidl a 5 min drive. Tunnels beach in ilfracombe (a Victorian bathing site) is ideal for kids as the sea makes a small pool where the can take dinghys and floats. Mortehoe is a quaint little village with a thriving local pub serving hot meals and there are plenty of places to eat in Barnstaple. Try the horse riding near the site (a 5 min walk away) they do hikes and beach rides from beginner to advanced-my daughter went twice and loved it! We will definitely be back to this site.

We stopped in a luxury lodge here for a short break. (Monday till Friday) and really enjoyed ourselves. We cannot fault it one bit. We got there at about 2:40pm, and were allowed into our lodge at 3pm! (Instead of 4pm.) Our lodge was lodge 21, and it had a meadow view. It was a really nice lodge, 3 bedrooms, one with a double bed, and the others with two twin beds. The lodge had a really nice balcony, with tables and chairs, and inside it was warm and cosy. There is a café onsite, and for breakfast the next morning we ate there. It was a really nice breakfast. Mullacott park is situated not far away from Ilfracombe centre, so each evening we went down to ilfracombe centre which was nice. Overall we had a great stay here and we will come back soon!

Room Tip: Lodge 21 was really nice! (meadow view)

We booked 6 days for mid August 13 at short notice. The lodge was home from home. We were all very impressed. One twin room and one double room (ensuite), family bathroom and an open plan kitchen, dinner & lounge. All very clean and well maintained. Kitchen well equipped with full gas stove, electric oven, washer/dryer, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, fridge, freezer & microwave. The site is very well situated for Woolacombe (3 miles) & Ilfracombe (8 miles). A large Tesco is only 5 miles away towards Ilfracombe. The pub on the site is ok, nothing special. The staff were very friendly when we arrived and didn't have any reason so see them again. We left early morning so did not see them when we left. Thank you very much for a lovely holiday home. We will definitely be returning. We stayed in luxury lodge 51.
