Description: The Laird's House is just stones throw from one of the great walks in the area. The laird's house is open for teas and coffee's with a selection of cakes and scones. We offer an informal lunch and slightly more formal Dinner. Ross in the kitchen is very proud of our steaks and takes great pleasure in specially selecting our beef. We are open Monday and Tuesday 9am-5pm, Wednesday to Saturday inclusive 9am-11pm and Sunday 10am-5pm

My wife and I enjoyed a lovely lunch at the Lairds House. The gluten free sandwiches and tray bakes were very tasty and the portions were generous as well. We will be back.

We visited the Laird's House for our work's Xmas night out. This was my first time there but will definitely not be my last. Staff were very welcoming and attentive without being intrusive. There was a big party in at the same time as us but service was excellent and our meals were delivered quickly. Being vegetarian it was refreshing to see a varied choice which didn't just offer mushroom risotto or pasta which many other restaurants seem to do. I had the Mediterranean vegetable and chick pie pie topped with Parmesan mash. Absolutely delicious! My colleagues had fillet steak and sea bass and said they were really good too. It was nice to have a wee look at all the independent retailer stalls too. All in all an excellent dining experience!
