“Must See!!!”
Reviewed April 30, 2014

Just happend to 'try' this attraction whilst passing.... What a find!

Lovely staff, brilliant facilities and simply fantastic attraction able to wander through the Amazon and see the animal as their most comfortable wandering as in the wild!

Brilliant array of animals, only thing to mention is shop a little small but hey small things!

“Not good”
Reviewed April 24, 2014

We visited here on a cold rainy day unfortunately and found it to be not very clean and very smelly
Quarter of the exhibits where empty and most of the inside ones where so dark and dreary you couldn't see them not a good visit

“Appeals to all ages”
Reviewed April 23, 2014

My husband was reluctant to go here, but as it was raining he gave in. He enjoyed it more than the rest of us. This was a really interesting place to visit and has a nice variety of unusual animals. Easy to spend at least half a day here, especially if the weather Is good. I would definitely go again. We have been to the island many times and this one of the best attractions.

“Lemur heaven”
Reviewed April 20, 2014

If you like Lemurs this is the place for you. They are the liveliest I have ever seen, and I have seen a few !!! They sit on you, jump on you, bounce off you and they have a baby that is just so cute, also a baby meerkat only 2 months old. It is quite small and does not take more then 2 hours at a push to go around, but the money goes to conservation of animals so is worth it and the penguins are nearly in their new fun home. I would go back again if only to see the Lemurs and the new penguin enclosure. I just wish they maybe employed some more knowlegable staff, I know costs need to be kept down, but if you ask the way out, you don't expect them not to know.

“Great day out”
Reviewed April 20, 2014

We recently visited Amazon World with friends and our two children aged 11 and 3. We were not sure what to expect as never been before did some research and saw that it had good tripadvisor reviews. We thoroughly enjoyed the visit and felt it was good value for money. Our children enjoyed the walk through the Amazon noticing all the different animals and plants took some great close up photos. They especially enjoyed the outdoor area with all the different species of the monkeys. We felt the staff were very helpful answering questions that we all had :) What made the day was the lemur walk, our friends were lucky enough to have a lemur each on them as well as the baby lemur :) A great day out would highly recommend it.
