Description: Opened in 2006 after the success of our Peel restaurant, Harbour Lights Ramsey is the largest in our family of restaurants, easily capable of seating up to 50 guests. Located in St Pauls Square in the centre of Ramsey it is just a short walk from the busy Harbour and Town.Ramsey favourites include our famous french onion soup and Welsh rarebit with locally smoked salmon. Also be sure to try our fantastic afternoon tea (bring a big appetite) complete with fresh from the oven scones and homemade Victoria sponge. After six o’clock Harbour Lights transforms into a friendly evening restaurant with great home cooked food and friendly service. Try the Lobster spaghetti. Harbour Lights Ramsey is fully licensed with an extensive list of beers and wines, many of which are exclusive to us.

The quality of food is good but the menu lacks imagination and is repetitive, The staff are helpful and pleasant. Since they have taken on delivery of precooked meals the standards have slipped.
OK For a quick meal .

We have eaten in the Harbour Lights quite a few times, food is always good and you get a good portion. Prices are reasonable. Love Harbour Lights in Peel for lunch, try the French Onion soup, always a favourite for lunch. Beef Bourginon for evening dinner is lovely with plenty of flavour. Would go more often if I had the chance, definitely recommend it and everything on the menu is lovely.

Don't be fooled by the "precinct" location or outside appearance of Harbour Lights in Ramsey. We had booked Sunday lunch, but were unsure when arriving outside whether this was our wisest decision. How wrong we were.

The inside was pleasantly decorated, and the staff provided an extremely warm welcome, and the staff continued to provide attentive and good service throughout. The food was all home cooked and locally sourced and tasted just as good as you could have hoped for. Our meals were served with vegetables galore and when these became depleted more were offered by the friendly staff, but the quality and quantity of the main course resulted in us declining the offer.

Desserts were again home made and proved too much of a temptation, and despite the menu offering "taster" portions, we were glad we went for the generous portions - delightful!

Would not hesitate to return. It should be noted that this is the first time ever I have written a trip advisor review - that says how much my family enjoyed both the service and food.

Give it a try and I hope you are equally pleased as we were.

Our family of 7 walked in on the off chance on Friday 9th August at 5:40pm. A table for seven was very quickly arranged and the two youngsters 3 & 6 were given kiddies packs, a great success. The service was outstanding. Once we had ordered drinks and food we were served fresh rolls, butter and dips. Really nice. The starters were incredible! The main courses were a sight, a smell and a taste to behold. What quality of food and all freshly prepared. The deserts that only a few managed were of outstanding too. We were well looked after. There was no rush, the surroundings inside the restaurant were very pleasant. DON'T BE PUT OFF WITH THE FACT THE RESTAURANT WAS IN A SHOPPING CENTRE, THAT HAS SEEN BETTER DAYS. GO IINSIDE AND EXPERIENCE ONE OF THE BEST MEALS YOU WILL FIND ON THE ISLAND.
