Before this holiday I was on the Isle of Man for two times during TT. So far, I always have stayed at hotels in Douglas.
Last time we decided to explore more of this beautiful island and so we booked Sebbie´s house for two weeks. (not during TT)
What should we say – it was the best decision ever! Before you stay in a hotel – check out Sebbie´s House! You´ll get much more for your money!
On our arrivel some roads were closed. Because we arrived by plane Brendan decided to pick us up at the airport in order not having troubles with the buses. What a great service!
Brendan is a really funny and lovely guy!!!
He showed us the house and explained everything. The House was very clean and well prepared! Brendan's wife prepared the fridge with some food and prosecco for the start. Because we´re none UK we was very happy to have great working Wifi!
All neighbours are really lovely and friendly too!
The House itself is very good located.
Bus stop is one minute walk away. Perfect for us – we explored the Island by bus or walk.
Peel town centre and a big shoprite are only a few minutes walk away from the house, where you get everything you need.
Good restaurant is the Highwayman! Only a 5 minutes walk away!
Also check out Peel Castle, Peel Hill and the walk up to Corrins Tower. The view is incredible!!!
Make a long story short: we had a really great holiday. Time flies when you're having fun and we definitely had a lot of fun. We felt really well in this house and it was like a second home for us. We´ll definitely come back again!!
Thanks again for the great time!

We were greeted at midnight by our host, and he was kind enough to get a few things in so we had enough for breakfast in the morning.
The house is lovely and well maintained.
Good base to explore the island at a good price.
We will be back!
This two bedroom house is perfect if you have a family like me. Clean house with excellent facilities and helpful guides about the island and things to do. TV's in both bedrooms was a welcome surprise. Located within walking distances of the beach and castle. The great host was even kind enough to have shopping ready for us in the fridge as we'd arrived late on a Sunday night. The only criticism is about the internet which is fine for browsing but not for streaming. Would highly recommend!
We've stayed here a few times now and love it. Sebbie's House is always presented in immaculate condition every time we go there and the owner can't do enough to ensure everything is perfect. Sebbie's House is in an ideal location for everything you want to do and is a fantastic place to getaway for a break. Everything was 100% just right.
We had a great time at Sebbie’s House at Peel on the Isle of Man. The house is easy to find in a quiet location on the edge of Peel .It is a modern house with a light and airy feel. When we arrived the house was immaculate. The two bedrooms are a good size and the beds are really comfortable. It is very well equipped with all the usual kitchen appliances plus a sitting out area and it even has a TV in both bedrooms plus a massive TV in the lounge. There is off road parking for one large car and it might be possible to fit 2 small cars in. Buses run from the nearby stops to Douglas and Ramsey. Peel is a short walk away (try the route across the field, down the cliff path and then along the front) and is a great location to explore the island. Peel is large enough to have plenty of shops and eating places yet small enough to be able to easily walk around. Brendan was there to meet us and was a perfect host who left us a welcome pack of unopened tea, coffee, milk, biscuits and wine. Very welcome!! He lives in the next village and I felt I could approach him at any time if I had had a problem. Sebbie’s House has a quality feel about it and it was really nice to come back to such a welcoming house. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
Conveniently located only a few minutes drive from Peel centre. Great views from front of property. Great for us as a family of 4. Easter eggs hidden for the kids to find by Brendan and a bottle of wine left in the fridge for us which were lovely touches. Wireless internet provided but found to be not quite up to streaming speeds. Would definitely be keen to book this property again on our next trip to the Isle of Man.
We visited with our two young children and thought a house would be better for us, rather than a hotel. The house was well equipped and lovely and clean. After being delayed on the ferry for over 12 hours, we were left food in the fridge and the owner was very accommodating and helpful. Nothing was too much! We even had Easter eggs in the fridge for the kids.
The house is in a good location for peel and I can't recommend enough! You won't be disappointed if you choose to stay. We will definitely use the same house if we return to the Isle of Man!!
