I was perhaps silly in being surprised to find such a modern, thorough, well-equipped on a tiny island and in a tiny town like Peel. From the staff to the gift shop to the very technologically-advanced museum exhibits, The House of Manannan gives an incredible overview of the history of the island. Not to be missed.

Worth returning for more information. Very educational for either child or adult. Peels historical castle in the background always invites you back. Lots or see in the museum or walks through the narrow street, with quant shops.

Something for all the family in this wonderful museum. There is so much to see and do but you can take a break for lunch and pop across the road to The Creek (good food) and then go back in for more viewing.

Peel is a beautiful and historic town. With very narrow streets, and a very attractive Port. When visiting the beautiful Island, Peel is a must. On a day that, (unusually for IOM)!, it was tiddling down, so we decided to have a drive around the Island. The House of Mannaman was almost at the end of their season, so we had the place to ourselves. What a surprise, as the exhibition is really impressive, and beautifully presented. I was amazed to find such an exhibition that must have cost a fortune to be so far away from Douglas - the Island's tourist centre. I strongly recommend that you take the time to visit this super attraction.
