We were invited to Filbeys by my brother and sister-in-law. We had walked past it many times but had never felt an urge to eat there since the surroundings seemed 'cold' and hard. However, we were pleasantly surprised when we were seated upstairs with views over the marina. Though the decor is a little spartan, the food was excellent with plenty of choice, and all freshly prepared. Service came with a smile, which is worth a lot! Will be happy to go again.

Went to Filbey's Bistro on the 14th May 2014 with the hubby for our wedding anniversary. Arrived was greeted by friendly welcoming chef's Scott and Scott was told that our table was ready upstairs and we could go up if we wanted or wait for someone to come down and see us up. We went up and were greeted by a lovely member of staff and seated to our lovely table which was well dressed in the lovely suroundings. The Food was amazing and served promptly (as it is freshly cooked) had full 3 courses. The waitresses were attentive and we received service with a smile. Would higly recommened Filbey's Bistro. They also do a lovely rustic family roast on a sunday and before 4pm the burgers are amazing. This is a great restaurant for family meal and occasions will be going back. Took my friend for lunch on the 17th May 2014 and had the big bad boy burger which I could only eat half so took the other half home.

Visited Filbeys with my parents whilst staying in Peel and it was a excellent restaurant as we had 3 courses and the pudding was one of the best chocolate cakes I have ever tasted! Service was excellent and atmosphere good as would recommend as a treat as quite expensive

Was taken for an Easter sunday meal at Filbeys, and it was great.
Ordered the lamb shank which was perfectly cooked and melted off the bone.
Pudding was a lime cheesecake with a coconut and lime ice cream........yummy!!!
The atmosphere was great and perfect decor to compliment the marina setting.
Would highly recommend and am looking forward to a return visit during TT.
