“Great Apartment!”
Reviewed October 26, 2017 for a stay in June 2017

We stayed in the apartment over looking the harbour. Lovelly apartment with balcony over looking the harbour in Peel (includes parking space), good restaurants and bars within walking distance. Welcome bottle of bubbly and chocolates on arrive was a nice touch from Jenni. Peel is a great base for exploring the island.

We enjoyed our holiday so much we have already booked the apartment for the same week next year!

“A very nicely appointed apartment in a convenient location.”
Reviewed October 22, 2017 for a stay in May 2016

Peel is a good point from which to explore the island to the north, south and east. The House of Mananan museum across the road is very interesting, as well as Peel Castle. Good local independent shops nearby as well as a large supermarket. The apartment is ideal for a couple and has its own parking.

“Everything was perfect”
Reviewed October 22, 2017 for a stay in August 2016

I really don't know where to start with this review, absolutely everything was just so perfect. From the first contact we had with Jenni we were made to feel very welcome. The cottage, no. 6 Strand Street was lovely with every amenity that you could need, or want - there was a woodburner (just a pity that the weather was glorious for the entire 2 weeks!!), a washing machine with a washing line in the beautifully kept garden, every utensil necessary, a comfortable bed, a lovely spotless bathroom, downstairs loo, clean linen (replaced after a week) etc etc etc. There were deck chairs for the beach, swing chairs and a bench in the garden, in fact if you thought of something you'd like to have it was probably already there. A real home from home. The location is a quiet street just off the promenade, wander down with your cuppa and watch the fishing boats and the seals in the harbour. And free parking!! Peel itself is idyllic, it has everything, shops, pubs, restaurants, cafes, chip shops and ice cream parlours (every one we tried was very good), a castle, a beautiful clean sandy beach, and of course it's sunsets. Jenni will recommend places to try and keep you informed about local events. Jenni is very obviously proud of her cottages and of Peel, and so she should be. Everyone we met was friendly and welcoming, with a special mention to the bus drivers. We had the most amazing holiday.

“Possibly the best s/c accommodation on the Isle of Man”
Reviewed October 19, 2017 for a stay in September 2017

From our point of view Peel is the best town on the island; - quiet enough yet with good facilities and easy access to all other areas on the island. Within Peel, 'Ben My Chree' holiday cottage has to be the best overall location - right on the seafront with free parking outside the door (tip: avoid parking directly under the street light/seagull perch). All the town facilities are within easy walking distance, the Marine Hotel does very generous food. We were even able to view seals from the lounge window.
The cottage had all the facilities we could need and gave us a good homely feel as soon as we walked in. When next we return to the Isle of Man this will be our first choice for accommodation.
