A beautifully appointed apartment ideally situated on the sea front in Douglas. There is a much needed parking space too as parking is difficult along the sea front. We really enjoyed exploring the Isle of Man and this apartment was a great base for us and was a quiet retreat after our full days out. Douglas was a 10 minute pleasant walk along the seafront & there is a small Spar shop close to the flat for everyday groceries, papers etc. We would highly recommend this well equipped accommodation for a relaxing holiday. The owners were very friendly and helpful and wanted to make our break a happy one.

Great place home from home nice towels in set for each of us bed really comfortable and pillows cant beat a good night's sleep would deffo stay there again great for parking also great location for bowling as greens not to far away nothing bad to say

The accommodation was excellent and the apartment overlooked an attractive courtyard with a fountain. We have rented at least 1 holiday home a year for the last 15 years and this was the first time we dealt with an owner directly rather than an agency. The administration was very good and we may go back to use this apartment again as a base for a walking holiday. Douglas was very quiet and sparsely populated compared to the usual urban sprawl. The Island is easy to travel around using the electric trains, narrow gauge stream trains and a modern fleet of buses. Buy the all inclusive travel passes (one child free with each adult pass). Castletown is a lovely seaside resort but my favourite was Peel: not an amusement arcade anywhere! The Island only seems to be very busy during motor racing events. Several middle age people like us commented that it was like going back in time to their childhood. I enjoyed the Steam Packet ferry from Liverpool and the return trip was embellished by a Lancaster bomber flypast mid Irish Sea. If the weather is sunny, it would be an excellent place for kids for simple beach holidays. Try the Douglas museum which is one of the best provincial museums I've come across and particularly the WW1 exhibition, Don't forget to take out health insurance because it's not NHS.

Onco arrival we were surprised at the quality of the apartment The fixtures and fittings matched the Excelent and very comprehensive paperwork we had received from the owner from the onset of my booking. The owner had provided a welcome pack and we found all items that we would need to enjoy our stay, including toilet rolls hand soap in the bathrooms and waste bags and clean bedding together with blankets & towels for the beech,
I would like to say that during our stay we had no problems and with 4 food shops and aTesco store close by Food was an easy purchase.
We all agreed that we would have NO hesetation to book this apartment again.
