Booking for 3 , allocated a prime booth so very happy .
At first the restaurant appears dimly lit but when seated you will find it makes excellent use of a mirrored wall which gives a feeling of space .
To start crab fish cakes and queenies In tempura batter and a cheese soufflé - all very nice , good use of coriander
Mains - 2 x duck , lemon sole all delicious - very flavoursome
Unusually to finish we all had desert - sticky toffee something and black current and cassise cheesecake all with ice cream .
Now I don't eat deserts normally but the cheese cake and delightful ice cream were super .
Service was a tad on the slow side but I understand it's a fine line between leisurely enjoying your meal and waiting for it .
All washed down with a bottle of prosecuo
Excellent I will return
