“Great fun and a good cause”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2011

This attraction does pretty much what it says on the tin. There are fields of horses, and you can buy bags of food in the shop to feed them with.

It's not going to occupy a whole day, but it's certainly worth popping in, spending a pound on a large bag of food, and then going and meeting the horses.

There's a little cafe, a shop with a decent range of (most horse themed) stuff.

Definitely worth a visit!

“CHARMING LITTLE RETREAT”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2010

Every time we visit Isle of Man from Cavan, Ireland- we visit this attraction - My Children ( Now teenagers) still love to buy horse food in the shop and feed the horses- the horses are very gentle and eat food from your hands There is a lovely Farmyard feel to the Home and a cafe, Gift Shop and a little store with clothes and odds and ends at reasonable prices
The Gift shop has lovely gifts at very reasonabble prices and photos of all the horses and their names- there is also a competition to name the new baby additions to the rest home to enter. The staff are very friendly and non intrusive - the setting is very postcard and the horses are very well cared for and have loads of space to move around.
we will be going back this August 2010 to visit Looking forward to it!!
