Very relaxing week. Cottage was excellent and the hot tub was great after a days walk. Centrally located for visiting all parts of the island. Would recommend it.

“Quaint little cottage on a slope.”
Reviewed May 30, 2018 for a stay in May 2018

Nicely fitted out small cottage but three rooms at three different levels means you have to be comfortable with stairs/steps. Kitchen is small but has everything you need, however it does get very warm especially on a hot day and cooking. An extraction fan would be a great addition.
Hot tub outside is wonderful after a day out sightseeing, and during TT week you can just see and hear the bikes going over the mountain 5km away. This may be a good thing or not!!!

Thanks very much for your review. We do make the existence of the steps as clear as we can in our listing. We are trying to get an extractor installed in the kitchen but this has proved difficult due to the construction of the walls and roof of this original stone cottage.

“Beautiful, peaceful and perfect.”
Reviewed May 8, 2018 for a stay in May 2018

Well what can I say? An absolutely lovely little cottage just off the outskirts of Douglas situated in the middle of a beautiful valley. The photos really don't do it justice which is a bonus as it beat all expectations! Very warm and friendly hosts who were happy to accommodate for anything you needed. We even got to store our motorbikes in their garage. Close to Douglas and all the main routes to anywhere on the island. Perfect views in the morning and the hottub just tops it all off. Sitting under the stars at night with a glass of wine. Couldn't of asked for a more relaxing getaway for the week end. Thank you very much!!

“Delightful cottage”
Reviewed May 6, 2018 for a stay in May 2018

We booked on the basis of the description and reviews on TA. Firstly dealing with the previous negative comments posted, this is a 19th century cottage, don’t expect level floors etc, the owner makes clear that there are 2-3 steps between levels, kitchen, to lounge, to hall and then bedroom. Yes the hot tub is near the road, in the three days we heard one car, and saw both the postman and DHL, hardly intrusive and the views make up for it. We came over for an anniversary and the owners could not have been more considerate or helpful, from allowing us to park our convertible away from trees, to supplying more wood for the burner. This is a fantastic hideaway with amazing views and quiet, yes you need a car, but nothing is too far away, 10 mins and you are back in Douglas and Tesco or M&S if you really must!

“Charming with Beautiful Views”
Reviewed January 19, 2018 for a stay in January 2018

Couldn’t have asked for a better or more comfortable place to stay while on the Isle of Man. Neil was friendly and informative and gave great recommendations for dinner. Great views surround you from the hot tub that is wonderful to soak in after a day of exploring. Can’t wait to go back this summer.

“Cosy cottage”
Reviewed October 10, 2017 for a stay in September 2017

We had a lovely break at the cottage. The cottage is well equipped with everything you could need. It's in a lovely and peaceful setting with a gorgeous view from the fantastic hot tub.
The hosts were really welcoming and even provided some toys for our 15 month old to play with.
The cottage is a bit off the beaten track so we needed to drive everywhere but it was well worth it for the idyllic setting.
