We popped in to El Toro Contento whilst on holiday with our ten month old baby and had a very warm welcome. The food was excellent - a far cry from the masses of deep fried food you often see in so called "tapas" places in London. As my partner's vegetarian, we mostly had a selection of veggie dishes which were all extremely tasty. Added to that were some fish dishes for me, including a special of locally grown chard and prawns which was absolutely divine - the chard providing a wonderfully earthy flavour which worked fantastically with the prawns. Apparently the restaurant uses local produce as much as possible.
We'd booked in advance and we loved the fact that when we got there, the high chair was all set up with a little bowl, a knife and a spoon set out for our son. To be honest I'm surprised more restaurants don't provide baby friendly eating implements - it's a lovely touch - and it works so well here. Tapas is a food for sharing after all, and our son absolutely loved it.
I only wish we lived nearby - we'd be here regularly without a doubt!
