These two people Claire and Guy, were most welcoming, where can you go in this day and age where the hotel owners come to the front door and welcome you by greeting you by your first names personally helping you with your luggage.Nothing was too much for them, the personal touch in all aspects of our experience was very refreshing.
The booking process was so easy, the breakfast were so filling (we saved so much money on food because it kept us full till at least late afternoon).
Thank you both so much, keep up the great hospitality, you both deserve the good things in life.

Room Tip: Top floor facing the sea, great veiws.

A BIG THANKYOU to Claire and Guy for making our mid week break at The Royson so comfortable. Our room (3) was spotlessly clean and our breakfasts were yummy. Both Claire and Guy are brilliant hosts and really make you feel welcome. This lovely guest house is highly recommended.

Unfortunately I have just returned from a short mid week break at the royson. I say unfortunately as whenever I have stayed at the royson and believe me I have been staying here ever since guy and claire took over
every year it gets better I no longer feel like I'm going on holiday more like visiting old friends! We are made to feel welcome as soon as we arrive the food never fails to impress with lots of variety and choice rooms are spotlessly clean and tidy . On returning to the island I will always return to the royson there is no other place to go!!
Thanks guy and Claire for another great stay xx

We have just had a week's holiday at Roysons hotel. Our room was light, bright, clean and airy. In room 7 we had a lovely view over Sandown bay. The breakfast was excellent and the hospitality from Claire and Guy was second to none. We didn't eat in but the dinner menu looked varied and it smelt delicious. Thanks Claire and Guy for a lovely week. Hope to see you again soon.

Room Tip: Room 7 was lovely. Quiet and with a lovely view.

We stayed at The Royson for the first time in August for our annual family holiday to the Isle of Wight. The hosts, Claire and Guy could not have been more welcoming and friendly. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we were made to feel very relaxed and comfortable at all times. With having a one year old toddler sometimes you can feel uneasy in new surroundings, as anyone with children will know you can never predict their behaviour. However Claire and Guy made us feel at total ease with complete understanding of what children are like, which helped us to relax a lot more.
The food was brilliant, good quality breakfasts with plenty of choice. The evening meals were superb again with plenty of options and some evenings spoilt for choice. Although if nothing took your fancy Claire would offer an alternative to meet your requirements.
The bedrooms have recently been refurbished and are very comfortable and homely and exceptionally clean.
Overall the whole of our stay was made very enjoyable and we could not have asked for better hosts. So much so we booked again for two weeks next year and it can not come round quick enough!

Myself and my son have had a fantastic time the hospitality was second to none, the food was excellent and home cooked with a variety of choice. the rooms were excellently maintained and serviced everyday. This is are second stay at The Royson and we have booked for are next main holiday next year.
