Fortunately I had booked a table as some people who arrived could not be accommodated. The portions are large and value for money. In addition to the listed menu there are dishes of the day listed on the black board and many sell out quickly. I had a whole megrin (a type of flat fish) potatoes, red cabbage, cauliflower in white sauce, broccoli, carrots all on a large plate and could not finish it all. Therefore I had to miss out on the gorgeous desserts on offer - my Son managed some homemade chocolate fudge cake - warm, about a 5 inches square piece with his choice of ice cream, could have been served with whipped cream, pouring cream, chantilly cream, ice cream or custard! In addition to the luscious desserts, if you had room left, you could have had some local ice cream in various flavours. Service was attentive but not overpowering and there was a live band on the night we were there. Do not miss this eating experience. You can look out to sea from the tables and watch the ships go by as you eat yourself silly.
