We booked a three night stay at Letham House based on previous Trip Advisor reviews and we were not disappointed. We arrived to a warn welcome from Barbara despite our lateness due to a delayed flight and taken to a really delightful room - Botanical. The bathroom was a joy to use with a huge roll top bath and separate shower. Unlike other hotels/guest houses what we loved was the total silence at night. We slept wonderfully well. Breakfast was delicious. The house is beautiful and a joy to spend time in. We shall hopefully return in the not too distant future. A real credit to Barbara ,and Chris.

Room Tip: There is no lift and some rooms are up two flights of stairs. 42 to be precise. My husband counted...

A little gem of a bed & breakfast (not to be confused with a hotel i.e. there's no bell boy, concierge, 24hr hour room service etc) just outside Edinburgh; I stayed here during my birthday whilst fishing with Stewart from Alba Game Fishing (he's a fantastic guide too).
Owned and run by Barbara who is definitely on the ball in terms of hospitality, she's everything an owner/manager should be at an establishment of this kind: friendly, warm, flexible, hospitable, attentive and eager to please.
The room was warm and cosy and my bathroom was big enough to host a birthday celebration all of its own. The restoration work which has been carried out in a Georgian style is exquisite throughout!
Very recommendable and a perfect location and host. Thank you Barbara and well done for creating such a brilliant venue and experience.

A beautiful old house in an incredibly peaceful location. Rather like an house party, breakfast is served with guests seated at a single dining table. Lets guests meet interesting people. Very sociable. The food is excellent and service is very good. Would not hesitate to recommend.

I was able to entertain two old friends in the reception rooms of this hotel. The owners provided glasses and I provided the wine. I stayed for one night and had one of the best breakfasts I ever had. I cannot fault this Bed and breakfast. I would have paid several times miore for this standard and quality in London.

Room Tip: They are all excellent. I prefer a shower but do say if you want a bath.

We stayed there on our honeymoon and found it a wonderful place to stay, The rooms were large and beautifully decorated, the grounds were lovely and the hosts made us very welcome. The breakfasts were delicious. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a touch of luxury.
