Me and my Husband got married here in August 2012. We were looked after so much, the staff were helpful and Derek was brilliant, he walked us through the whole day and kept the whole day running smoothly. We couldn't have asked for more, it was a beautiful day and we will always remember. The food is also lovely, we have been back already for a meal at Easter, and will definitely be returning. :)

Room Tip: The honeymoon suite is beautiful and worth every penny. Wish we could have had another night!

we stayed for two nights. my son and new daughter inlaw got married here 27th of july. fabulous room for the service. reception room was a delight. . staff were helpful and really friendly ,they all worked really hard to make our day extra special. the hotel rooms were very clean and lots of space with a large bathroom. we had sea view rooms the views are amazing. the food for the wedding was first class. as was the meal in the restaurant the night before. breakfast was really good and again perfect service. the large terrace looking over the sea is wonderful. all in all an amazing hotel hard working and friendly staff. would strongly recommend this hotel for weddings perfect setting perfect day.

Room Tip: sea view great listening to the sea.

I went for a weekend break in May, always a little cautious about seaside hotels.
What a revelation!! A well appointed, airy room with a view to Torquay; polite and extremely helpful staff and a varied menu with affordable wine.
Despite being an old building, which are notoriously difficult to clean, the house keeping was outstanding. Housekeeper should note that my towels were changed despite my having hung them up, to avoid unnecessary laundry.
Altogether a very pleasant stay in a well run hotel.

Found this hotel by accident after driving down from London on the way to Cornwall. What a gem, it was an amazing place to stay. We stayed in the newly refurbished room 54 and it was a delight ... with an amazing view of Tor Bay and Paignton Pier! The spa bath was a bonus and a great way to relax after a long day. Staff were excellent - all extremely friendly. Thanks!

Stayed in room 59 in the tower. Fantastic room with amazing views over the sea. Room was very clean, comfortable and quiet. If you are looking for a traditional hotel with friendly and attentive staff then you can't go wrong here. Great value for money too.

Will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.
