A lovely little B&B, Cayton House is only a short walk away from Preston sands, and Paignton beach, shops and pubs.
We were made to feel very welcome by the owners Jo & Stuart.
We were offered tea & coffee with complementary scones (home baked) and Devon clotted cream which was perfect after our long distance travelling.
Our 5 night stay could not have been better catered for by such a nice couple.
They have plenty of leaflets for days out, and menus from local restaurants.
Stuart kindly dropped us off at the bus station, which we must thank him for, it was a very nice thing for them to do as we had a very heavy suitcase lol

Had a lovely time at Cayton House. Will stay here again, Lovely hosts. Choice of breakfast (warning:- the breakfast can be quite large. You could quite easily go without lunch later in the day. Complementary Devon cream tea upon arrival (freshly baked home made scones). Fresh milk outside your room to go with your morning cuppa (none of that pre-packed UHT stuff). The hosts do have a cat and a dog (no biting, but might be a problem if you are allergic).

I can honestly say I have never stayed anywhere as nice as Cayton House. The service is truly amazing. The attention to detail is what did it for me. Nothing is too much trouble. I am definitely going back, the best breakfast in the world.

One of the best bed & breakfast's we have ever stayed in. The Hostess and Host wer very friendly and extramly helpful. We could not fault the accommodation and the breakfast.
When we return to the area we would definatly stay again.

Thanks for the hospitality.

Thank you so much for the great review. As my little B&B has only been open just over a year it is really fantastic to me that I am getting a lot of things right and my guests are having a relaxed and comfy stay. Thank you for staying again and hope to see you both in the future. Jo Clarke.

I booked this B&B after other ones in Paignton (higher up the search list) didn't answer their phone. Boy, am I glad they didn't. This is the best B&B I have stayed in, full stop. Great service, spotlessly clean and a breakfast to die for. The unbelievable icing on the cake was the price. I'd have paid double and still felt I had value for money. I wish all hotels and B&B's operated like this.
Well done Joanne and Stuart. If I am down in the area again and need a room you will be my first port of call. My Girlfriend, a well seasoned international traveler, was amazed too. ***** 5Stars :-)

Room Tip: Book early to avoid disappointment.

This was the second time we have stopped a week at Cayton House following our stay last year and we loved it both times. Jo and Stuart are both great hosts and even Alfie the dog smiles when he sees you. The room was clean and comfortable and there is a great choice of breakfasts. There is plenty to do locally and if you wanted you could leave the car parked up all week cos its only a short walk into town. Won't hesitate to go to Cayton House next time we go to Devon. Thanx Jo & Stu and Alfie.
