we've just stayed at the guest for 7 nights. got to say fantastic hosts, we were met outside on arrival, ty and jo the hosts took our bags to our room. the room was lovely and clean, comfortable with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits, and bottled water. the breakfast was well presented, delicious and very adequate. there were fresh fruit, cereal or a full English breakfast to choose from. the guest house is within 5 minutes of walking to the beech and town centre shopping. will be definitely booking for next year. would recommend trentham to anyone. warm friendly and very comfortable. thanks ty and jo for a fantastic week, see u both real soon.

We stayed here 2 nights July 5-7, so close to the sea and town centre, lovely welcome by Tyron and Joanne upon arrival. Room lovely, clean, comfortable with tea/coffee/hot chocolate/bottled water and biscuits. Cooked breakfast every morning was delicious, plenty of other choices for anyone not wanting a cooked breakfast. Cant wait to go again, next time for a week, I certainly would recommend Trentham to anyone wishing a relaxed, friendly, comfortable place to stay in Paignton.

We stayed at the guest house for 3 nights all the double rooms had gone so we decided to try the twin bed room and we were really pleased with it the beds were so comfortable and the room was spacious with pleant of light,,On arrival tyrone met us and made us a pot of tea with biscuits then joanne sat with us on the front garden for a chat and we were made to feel so welcome,The guest house was spotlessly clean and the breakfasts were exellent,The location was ideal as it is situated in a cul-de-sac behind the sea front and not far from the shops, tyrone will have you in stiches with is humour,we wouldnt hesitate to stop there again so thanks for a pleasant stay, kevin & margaret...

Stayed here for a few days. Good location, not far from the town centre and seafront.
Room was decent size, very clean and breakfasts were excellent, choice of cereal, scotch pancakes, waffles, yogurt and/or full English, so a very good start to the day!
Tyron and Joanne couldn't do enough to make your stay a good one :)

This was our first stay to this guest house and to Paignton. I would highly recommended Trentham house to anyone - the hosts were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Need a bucket and spade-use ours they said. Need some suntan lotion-use ours, want to borrow a book to read- certainly. And so it goes on. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, everything was in good condition. Parking was no trouble. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. It is ideally situated a 2 minute walk from the Pier and another 2 minutes from the town. Altogether 10 minutes to the railway station which is handy for those visiting the steam railway to Kingsweir. A very peaceful spot however, even though you are close to everything. I would certainly stay here again.

Lovely to see Tyron and Joanne again.Home from home.Everything of a very high standard.Would recommend this Guest House to anyone. The breakfast is suited to every ones preference, nothing lacking and if there was you just have to say and they would do their best to please.
Unfortunately my husbands sight is very limited now so because we know Trentham so well we are able to cope.It is an ideal location as it is central to everything. There are plenty of eating out places. We found Wetherspoons very good and very reasonable. The Palace Hotel near- bye was excellent for us as we were able to partake of the entertainment in the evenings which was very good.
Thank You!Joanne and Tyron for setting yourself such a high standard and maintaining it to give us an enjoyable holiday.

We visited Paignton for a change of scenery and a recharge following a couple of family bereavement in December and January. We booked the Trentham Guest House as it was ideally situated for walks along the seafront in the evening before dinner. Also the nearby train station (200yds) provided links to Dartmouth and Agatha Christie’s Greenway Estate. The welcome was very homely with Jo meeting us at the door as we parked up. The room was very well presented, warm and cosy, with plenty of tea and coffee available. The breakfasts were very filling and lasted us to the evening! Tyron and Jo made us feel right at home and nothing was too much trouble for them. We even risked attending one of Tyron’s quiz/DJ evenings in the local bar, very enjoyable but we didn’t win anything! We will be back soon as we have return tickets for Paignton Zoo. Yes, I would definitely recommend this B&B, great owners, excellent value and BIG breakfasts! See you soon, Andy & Tracey (Cornwall)
