“Most enjoyable amateur production of Agatha Christie play to a high standard”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 28, 2013

What we liked:-
Nicely refurbished auditorium with comfortable seats and good views of the stage; delighted to find one of the few theatres in the area with regular performances; great idea to run Agatha Christie plays during the summer given her connections to the area; excellent cast and production quality
What we disliked:-
Can't think of anything!

“A Tribute To All Music”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 21, 2013

This was a great show form start to finish with a variety not seen for many a year
The first artist was the lead singer from excellent Folk Group the Spinners and Viv and Barrie sang the top show songs. The show is linked together by the very funny and friendly Vic Baulton who introduced talent only available normaly at very high ticket prices
Michael Jamie Carters sound impressions have to be heard to be beleived and his Tenor voice is amongst the best I have heard live
Just Gene Pitney Trbute closed the first half with a stunning performance with a voice as close to Gene as can be and left the audience spelbound
After the interval Vic Baulton linked together a very good set from Mike Holgate who sang with his 12 string guitar backing some of the best songs by Bob Dylan in the Birds style and was very well received
Jazz was covered next with the stylish Ross Mc Mullan who presented a slick vocal style similat to Josh Stone with excellent piano accompaniment
We were treated to the special appearance of the headliner from Ultimate Roy Orbison Show who's fantastic singing voice is as near as anyone can possibly get to Roy.
He has performed with this cast once before and appeared coutesy of his managment company (MITES)
Closing the show was Pendalum 5 with excellent Shadows tunes and a very lively female rock singer great sounding band and dare I say better than Hank!
A great night, great show to see again and again we went to see it twice!
