not too good very.hard to sleep at night with motorbikes using the car park as a racetrack until early hours did complain but nothing happened, but to be honest did not expect a young girl on her own to confront the bikers at midnight and did not want her too but a call to the police to have a word would not been an unreasonable thing to expect, it was not cheap and to be honest could have used anyone one of a dozen hotels in the local area and paid less and slept better will not use again

We stayed at this hotel for two nights over the bank holiday weekend. We saw from the images posted that part of the rooms had a sea view and were extremely lucky that we got into one. Weather was excellent throughout our stay so we had chance to see the sun rise over the sea - spectacular! Our bathroom did not have a heated towel rail fitted, which was one and maybe the only weak point to the hotel itself. Staff was friendly and helpful though a bit at a loss to recommend any restaurants nearby, so we had to go on tripadvisor to check out.
The adjacent restaurant was by far not up to the hotel's standard. We had dinner there on the first night, and the chicken salad which I ordered was lacking dressing. I asked the staff for a French dressing to save the salad, and though he tried his best, I received something hyperacidic that was definitely not French dressing and that would have ruined the salad had I not tasted it. We went into Paignton for second night dinner which was a good choice. Breakfast was of varying quality and level of service. We chose to eat outside, the first morning we were virtually left on our own and had to organise condiments and cutlery ourselves. The second morning we were wiser to organise better, and we were luckier to be entertained by a staff member who brought out all the essentials to our table without needing to be asked. Continental breakfast buffet was very good, though for the English breakfast you definitely get what you pay for. Our Quorn sausages were dry and hardly edible, as well as the hash browns which they managed to overcook. Would strongly consider to take only the continental breakfast there next time.

We stayed at Goodrington sands PI for 2 nights in early April and were very pleased to note our room was of a good size and best of all had a lovely sea view. We kept our window open at night to hear the sea which was most relaxing and enhanced our stay. As always both the bathroom and bedroom were spotlessly clean.
Two minor niggles: the welcome we received was adequate but lacked the usual Premier Inn charm and good night guarantee. My other point is regarding breakfast; I always find the bread/toast to be of quite poor quality - neither fresh nor appetising ie rather cheap.
However, overall we enjoyed our stay immensely.

Room Tip: Insist on a sea view.

Good value hotel, we stayed for 3 nights. The room was always clean and tidy; staff were friendly and helpful at all times. superb location right on the beach.
Sadly the adjoining restaurant was probably one of the worst I have ever experienced - deserves a review of it's own.

Booked for 3 nights as previously stayed in Premier inn lockyers Quay Plymouth and it and the adjoining restaurant were excellent. The same cannot be said for Goodrington Sands, the Hotel is good in a great position on seafront BUT the restaurant is truly the worst I have ever been in.Tatty, noisy, not very clean, you have to queue to order your food and pre pay, carry your own drinks to the table, they do bring food when ready to table.I could not sleep for thinking we would have to eat breakfast there.Breakfast was slightly better, less noisy but still tatty surroundings and not very clean.Only stay here if you are not fussy, have noisy children and enjoy a very bad holiday camp atmosphere.I am sorry Premier inn your hotel is absolutely good value, clean and comfortable but you really need to sort Brewers Fayre out.

Room Tip: ask for sea view
