Visited in September (review is late, busy at work)
Most wonderful welcome by genuinely lovely family. Facilities are absolutely spotless, lots of lovely little touches around the room. All the extras you don't necessarily expect! Lovely little lounge to sit and watch tv. Peaceful break, exactly just what you need from a break off work.
Breakfast.......... Well well, best breakfast I have ever had EVER! Attention to detail was outstanding (get the impression the cook is a bit of a perfectionist). 3 breakfasts on a trot, I would never do that normally but just could not resist!

Stayed here in a family room and was very satisfied with the accommodation offered.
The room was spotless and the beds very comfortable.
The breakfast is very good indeed! Jayne the owner does a great job to provide guests with a large choice and plenty of tea/coffee,

Good spot in between train station and sea front.

Conclusion- Good value stay :)

A warm and friendly welcome the start of a very pleasant stay.

Room was very comfortable, clean and with plenty of pillows and lots of storage space, Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices and every effort made to accommodate any request.

Close to the beaches, town centre and railway station, I would certainly return again.

Booked on line as we were driving down to Paignton, phoned and spoke to John to explain that we would be there after the check in time but were assured this would not be a problem. Arrived to find parking in front of b&b, bonus. Shown to our room which was clean and comfortable, plenty of pillows on the bed (rarity in most places). Close to shops and bars, only a couple of minutes walk.
Breakfast in the morning was lovely. Not only was there the traditional English breakfast (which was tasty) but there was yogurt and fresh fruit on offer too. Hopefully there will be rooms available next time we visit paignton. Thank you both x

We found ourselves in Paignton due to father being unwell. Jayne & John made us feel very welcome, they were very attentive and the breakfast's were lush. We all really enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend to friends and will definitely visit again !! Thank you

We stayed here after reading reviews on TA. Maybe we arrived on a bad day or we expect too much but it was decidedly ordinary .
Room was at the top of the house-perfectly fine if a bit tight. En-suite was a shower and loo, whilst sink was outside in main room, as there was barely enough room to move in the en-suite. Taking a shower is only for average size people-tall or bigger people would struggle to use the facilities.

Was pleasant enough but areas outside the bedrooms were rather dated- still it was a brief stay and fine for our needs.

Food was great (breakfast and dinner) in good light dinning room and nice TV lounge where you can relax in comfortable chairs/sofas. Our room was a good size but the en-suite was rather small which made it a bit uncomfortable to use. Very close to shops and front so ideal if you don't want to use a car.
