Two meals for £12, off season sometimes £10,you can't go wrong,Never had a bad dinner yet.Standard food, medium portions, fast service.Won't gain any Michelin stars in my opinion, but if I was feeding a hungry family I'd head there.

A family get together on a wet and windy day with all of us looking for food and shelter. We were a little late on arrival for lunch but they were serving all day and glad of the custom. We found a quiet table overlooking the sea and pier but unfortunately the interior was showing signs of wear and in need of a comprehensive refurbishment. The menu offered a reasonable range and variety of food and prices were acceptable however the wait to receive our meals was not acceptable.Overall the impression is not favourable but it could be worth a try later in the year when the sun is shining.

The service was acceptable but the wait for our meals and the food itself was unacceptable.
It was also cold when it arrived and was very tempted just to walk out.

Visited again over the summer. Opted for a steak and a fish and chips meal on the 2 for £12 offer. The place was quiet on entry and there was not much of a queue at the bar. Food arrived reasonably quickly; the steak was a bit overcooked and quite chewy, the fish and chips were crisp but perhaps the batter was a little too brown. Chips weren't all that hot. Our plates were not cleared at any point prior to leaving. We did witness a member of staff clearing plates, picking food off the plates with her hands, which was a bit odd. The tables were clean but the place looked a bit tired inside. The 2 for £12 does not operate on the weekends, worth noting. Drinks were fine, a little pricey though.
