We visited on a Friday evening and were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. We enjoyed an excellent meal, with crepelle for starter, chicken Normandy and duck black cherry for main course. The food was lovely and full of flavour. Needless to say, we had an excellent evening, great food and friendly service. We will definitely visit again soon.

If you are looking for good Italian food, then this is the place to avoid!! I went there and ordered the “chicken caccatore” what I got was an dry over cooked chicken fillet with a warmed up tin of tomatoes over it and a few chopped raw red peppers, not a trace of any herbs or garlic or any cooking skills come to that. As for presentation, of the five meals we ordered that evening only one was even halfway presentable, all of them resembled in presentation and taste put one in mind of a very cheap 1980’s wedding breakfast. In total a very bad and over priced establishment.

Great little restaurant off the beaten track. Friendly staff and some really nice food. Have visited a number of times and on each occasion there were very few diners so the atmosphere was lacking - such a pity as it's a great local venue!

A proper old fashioned Italian restaurant with all the classic dishes you just don't find any more, will definitely be going back and would highly recommend it if you miss the real Italian restaurants from the 70's and 80's.
